4 OUTSIDE LACQUER SYSTEMS PRC FEATURES The PRC roer acquer appication systems consist of: Lacquer reservoir Driven appication roer Frequency-drive motor Different appication roers The PRC outside roer coater covers the seam of the canbody with a thin acquer fim as a corrosion protection. The iquid acquer quantity is adjustabe and wi be transferred from the transfer roer to the apppication roer. A specia roer materia quaity, stee and expanded rubber, appies an even acquer appication and aso aows the processing of shaped cans. Lacquer fows continuousy and uniformy from the acquer tank into the transfer reservoir. The PRC outside roer copes with a modern canbody maker weding speeds. It can be mounted to any conveyor type handing cans with top wed seam. The appication speed is stepessy adjustabe for optimum performance of the acquering operation. The eectric contro of the drive motor is inked with the can conveyor motion so that they operate simutaneousy. By means of a brush, the ANL appies a thin acquer fim which protects the exterior seam from corrosion, such as may be the case with autocave water or high - ambient humidity. The ANL system is deveoped to avoid any contamination with acquer on the inside seam.
