1 (0500) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS VARIABLE SPEED AIR HANDLERS FOR USE WITH SPLIT SYSTEM COOLING AND HEAT PUMP CFM BLOWERS 2-5 TON COILS OPTIONAL1 & 3 Ø ELECTRIC HEATERS DESCRIPTION These variabe speed air handers with matching cois wi boost efficiencies of existing spit system air conditioners or heat pumps up to 1.5 SEER and.5 HSPF as we as increase homeowner comfort. The (ECM) eectronicay commutated motor automaticay adjusts the bower speed to meet a wide range of airfow requirements. These versatie bowers and cois may be used for upfow, downfow, or horizonta eft or right appications and may incude eectric heat for both singe and three phase appications. FEATURES BLOWERS - The eectronicay commutated motor provides soft start/stop operation as it ramps up to fu speed and sowy ramps off. This ensures super quiet operation. There are mutipe, independent, heat and coo speeds avaiabe to optimize the proper airfow for the system requirements. The durabe, prepainted stee cabinet protects the unit against rust and corrosion and incudes 1/2" insuation (R vaue = 2.1). These cois may be converted for horizonta eft or right instaations by instaing a 1HP0623 or 1HP0628 horizonta drain pan. These cois are aso avaiabe with factory instaed horizonta drain pans. Coi cabinets are insuated with 1/2" instaation to prevent sweating. ELECTRIC HEATERS - 1 & 3 phase modes are avaiabe in 2 to 30 KW sizes. A heaters incude nicke-chromium eements and a 5-year imited warranty for 1 phase heaters and a 1-year imited warranty for 3 phase heaters. Circuit breakers are used in a 208/230 vot, singe-phase heaters of 13 KW and arger. Modes equipped with circuit breakers may be atered in the fied to use muti-source power suppy. Over-temperature imit switches provide protection from air fow oss. ACCESSORIES - A fu ine of matching accessories avaiabe for use with the bower and cois to aow any type appication. COILS - Staggered rows of rifed copper tubes are mechanicay expanded into auminum fins to provide high heat transfer and ong-asting quaity.
