A BEULCO manifods are ready to connect, eak tested and equipped with sound-insuated fastening eements. BEULCO manifods are avaiabe in different versions and guarantee practice-conform combination possibiities so that for each appication the idea product can be found. Manifod Technoogy - I made in Germany Characteristics Depending on the situation, it is sometimes necessary to change fow and return. With BEULCO heating and cooing manifods this is no probem.

In this case you can change the trunks or ony the vaves without probems.

Due to the vibratory finishing there is no friction at the seas so that they ive onger. The vaves are activated by hand caps or eectric actuators.

They are extremey energy efficient and ony have a power consumption of 1 or 2 watt per hour.

Exception: when using topmeters these have to be instaed into the return. If needed, heating circuits can be mounted in a way that the outets point upwards. In this case you can change the trunks or ony the vaves without probems. Stop vave upper part In order to guarantee a ong ife the spindes of the vaves have been treated by vibratory finishing and are doube seaed by two o-rings. Due to the vibratory finishing there is no friction at the seas so that they ive onger. The vaves are activated by hand caps or eectric actuators. Eectric actuator The eectric actuators for BEULCO heating and cooing manifods (230V / 24V) can be mounted subsequenty on the thermostatic vaves. They are extremey energy efficient and ony have a power consumption of 1 or 2 watt per hour. Fow meter (Topmeter) The topmeter serves for fast and exact reguation of the water fow in the heating circuits. The instaation is aways made in the return. The fow contro and aignment enabe deeper temperatures and thus a more economica operation. The reguation can be performed with a 8 mm aen key. By turning cock-wise, the fow is reduced and by turning countercockwise, the fow is increased. Fow and return The manifods are constructed in a way that fow and return are staggered in order to simpify the instaation and the mounting. In this way pipes can be aid easiy behind the manifod trunks. 4

6 Manifod Technoogy - I made in Germany Hydrauic Baancing Different norms and reguations, among them the Energy-saving Decree (EnEv) in Germany, VOB/C DIN 18380, DIN EN and DIN EN 12831, require a hydrauic baancing. This is an important precondition for the perfect functioning and the energy-efficient operation of a pant. Ony with a system that is hydrauicay baanced in a components the required contro accuracy and efficiency can be achieved. In Germany the hydrauic baancing process is required by aw for new systems and when renovating existing systems. Providing evidence is thus obigatory. In order to ensure an optima baance, BEULCO manifods are equipped with stop vaves and fine reguating vaves. The foowing method aows to find the correct setting vaues (particuary in existing systems): Note: The method and given vaues appy mosty for Germany. Exampe To guarantee a fow of 150 /h with a p vaue of 2000 dapa, the spinde has to be opened with 4 1/2 turns by the ventiating key. 7

Remove the screw of the handwhee, but do not remove the handwhee. Screw in the presetting spinde cockwise in the vave spinde a the way to the stop. The vave is then competey bocked. Read the desired presetting vaue from the diagram. Hod the handwhee and screw the presetting spinde to the eft, as often as you see from the diagram. Rescrew fastening screw of the handwhee. Exampe To guarantee a fow of 400 /h with a p vaue of 1500 dapa, the spinde has to be opened with 5 1/2 turns by the ventiating key. 8
