FRONT MOUNTED BOXER ENGINE Inspired by Toyota s iconic AE86, the 2017 Toyota 86 is designed to achieve Pure Baance. It uses a boxer engine in a front-engine, rear-whee drive configuration. The engine s compact size and fat shape aow it to be mounted, between the front and rear whee axes, creating an extremey ow centre of gravity. 4 SPORT TUNED SUSPENSION AND BRAKES We started with MacPherson struts upfront to maximize space and added a stiff doube wishbone suspension in the rear to ensure grip and stabiity. And we topped it a off with four ventiated disc brakes to give you quick response and precise deceeration contro. TORSEN LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL The Torsen Limited Sip Differentia maximizes traction by distributing power to the whees as needed, heping you maintain traction at those key moments.
