Horizonta miing head position In the horizonta spinde position the spinde center can be driven up to 10 mm beow the edge of the tabe. By integrating a spinde dispacement sensor at the expansion source, this can be measured accuratey and compensated eectronicay. The effective expansion of the spinde is transmitted in sync to the contros and compensated by appying a temperature compensation formua. The ongitudina expansion of swiveed panes is aso compensated corresponding to the aignment of the miing head.

7 DDT Doube Drive Technoogy Unique and patented As standard the RX10 is deivered with a motor spinde version of min -1 and a maximum torque of 135 Nm. The Doube Drive design patented by Reiden Technik AG is avaiabe as an option. With this version a maximum torque of 291 Nm is reached via the High Torque Motor at up to min -1. From min -1 the High-Torque- Motor is decouped and a maximum number of revoutions of min -1 reached via the buit in motor spinde in the head. 8 Additiona stabiity The HSK100 variant of the miing head aso masters high machining forces with fying coours. Two speed variants and pneumatic spinde camping ensure best possibe set-up, even in miing-turning mode.

9 Penty of room for individuaity Star-shaped T-sots and factory readying for jaw boxes provide the best possibe setup for camping circuar components. The tabe surface can however be taiored to customer requirements. MILLING AND TURNING in one setup The direct-drive circuar tabe has automatic imbaance detection. Counterweights ensure ow-vibration machining even at a maximum speed of 400 min -1. Workpieces need no onger be converted between miing and turning operations. 10 Loading methods Two different oading methods can be used to pass toos to the magazine. On the HSK63 / SK40 it is a singe too drawer and on the HSK100 / SK50 a swing door for five toos that can be oaded together.

12 Good view and accessibiity The optima arrangement of the contros, good ighting and arge windows aow the operator the best possibe view of the too and work piece. The CNC controers used, from HEIDENHAIN and SIEMENS, are amongst the best in the word.
