The zero position ony has to be set one time: once it is set, the zero remains stored for a further measurements. Therefore, when the indicator is switched ON or the measuring spinde is moved the indicator is iediatey ready for measurement; thus the need to reset as with a conventiona indicator is now obsoete. The new Reference system is extremey energy efficient as when the caiper is in standby mode; amost no power is required, thus extending the ife of the battery up to 3 years. - System 2 Years Conventiona 1 Year 2 Years 3 Years Error free operation Lock function: This prevents unintentiona activation of an operating button. Either a the operating buttons or ony certain individua buttons can be ocked. If a ocked operating button is pressed the LOC symbo wi appear in the dispay.
