4 Metric Tubing and Hose Meta Braided Rubber Hose Fexibe hose assembies Meta braided rubber hoses are suitabe for use with petro, diese fue, paraffin and other iquids to pressures stated in the tabes beow. They are aso suitabe for use with compressed air up to a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. The maximum working pressures quoted in these tabes have been taken under idea conditions with non-pusating pressures when used with compression tube fittings, see Section 9.6. When instaing a fexibe hose the foowing simpe rues shoud be noted. 1. Fexibe hose is weakened when instaed in a twisted position. 2. Ampe bend radius shoud be aowed to avoid coapsing the hose. 3. When hose is instaed in a fexing appication remember that meta end fittings are not part of the fexibe portion. 4. Use ebows or adaptors to eiminate excess hose bends.
