Operator Patform The muti-patented MoveContro TM Seat provides unprecedented eves of fexibiity for the operator. The seat can be positioned at -20, 0, 60 or 90 degrees, whichever is most productive for the operator. The seat bottom and backrest aso swive independenty for an added degree of mobiity. The seat bottom can be ifted up to provide a soft backrest for a standing operator. The seat aso has 190 mm of height adjustabiity. Contros for a operating functions are positioned smarty in the seat armrests. The contros are aways positioned consistenty for the operator, regardess of seat orientation. Other operator comforts incude a series of Work Assist Accessories such as a fan and two LED work ights that are ocated in the overhead guard. Other Work Assist Accessories can aso be mounted to the vertica Work Assist tube, or either of the tubes buit into the overhead guard. Mutipe storage compartments provide abundant room for persona items and toos. The operator s feet and right hand ony must be in the proper operating position for the trave and main raise functions to work. For oad hander functions, the eft hand sensor must aso be activated. The gates must aso be cosed during any powered truck movement. The truck can be stopped by activation of either of two foot-operated, positive-action service brakes or by reversing the traction motor for smooth AC regenerative pugging. State-of-the-art diagnostics are standard equipment. Every sensor can be monitored in rea time through the dispay and many of the output drivers can be tested as we. Power Unit The heavy-duty power unit was designed to eveny disperse oad stresses during paet retrieva and put away. Stee doors and covers protect the eectrica and hydrauic system components from the operating environment and intrusion. A covers can be easiy removed with ony a few toos. Sturdy skid bars can be easiy adjusted and repaced. Stabiiser bars (standard for ift heights >13485 mm) increase capacity at height. Batteries are serviced through the top battery access pane, which pivots easiy out of the way. The removabe centre section steer tyre skirt simpifies tyre repacement. MonoLift Mast Eevated oad sway and side bowing are minimised through the use of an excusive cosed crosssection mast construction. The mast/outriggers (main frame) can be competey separated from the power unit without discon - necting any hydrauic connections. Not ony is it easier to dismante the truck for transport, but the hydrauic system is isoated from the eectrica system so that oi and other contaminants wi not affect operation. A hydrauic func - tions are controed by ony two manifod bocks one in the main frame, and one in the oad hander. One arge AC motor provides penty of power for main ift, auxiiary ift, traverse, pivot and fork extension. The hydrauic and eectrica systems work together to aow exceent contro of the oad hander for smooth and safe manipuation of oads. Acceeration rates and top functiona speeds can be programmed to suit the appication. The regenerative owering system recaims energy upon every ower. This improves shift ife and requires fewer battery charges. A manua owering vave, positioned in the power unit, wi aow the patform to be owered from the ground. Forks can be returned to the home position prior to owering. Traction System A massive AC traction motor and associated drive unit provides for unparaeed top trave speeds and the abiity to creep the truck a few miimetres for precise paet pacement. Acceeration and deceeration rates can be programmed to fit the appication, whie direction reversas are smooth and immediate. Many speed seectabe programmes can be chosen to maximise safety and productivity. Many factors such as direction of trave, height of the patform, position of the forks, and whether operating in a guided mode wi have an infuence on speed. Top trave speed is achieved in the power unit direction with the seat in the 90 degree position. Top speeds wi be diminished graduay as the patform is raised. Inteigent Braking The patented Inteigent Braking System combines variabe regenerative motor braking with a three-step friction brake to optimise safety and comfort for the operator. Operating conditions such as speed of the truck, direction of trave, height and weight on the forks and weight of the truck are taken into account when the brakes are appied. In addition, friction brake use is minimised, which proongs brake ife. Athough the service brake is aways avaiabe to the operator through two foor pedas, the operator can choose to bring the truck to a controed stop by reversing the direction of the trave contro (pugging). Inteigent Steering Fu eectronic steering provides smooth and easy manoeuvring for the operator. Top trave speed of the truck is decreased when the steered whee is turned more than ten degrees. Further speed reductions occur as the amount of steering is increased. This inteigent approach provides a maximum degree of safety and comfort for the operator. Load Hander The fork carriage pivots 180º permitting paet handing on either side or front of the truck. Position of the forks is continuay monitored to permit safe, smooth and productive operation. Fork handing functions can be bended together for simutaneous operation which greaty improves productivity. The Auto-Pivot feature wi automaticay traverse and pivot the forks, a whie keeping the paet centred in the aise. Fork spread is incrementay adjustabe whie two choices of forks are avaiabe teescopic or nonteescopic. Teescopic forks automaticay extend during the traverse function or can be manuay extended using the standard override button. Programmabe height imits are aso avaiabe for raise and ower. Lower and raise imits can be overridden by the operator, if desired. Lift cyinder, hydrauic hoses and eectrica cabes are protected within the profie of the structure or behind removabe covers. Vertica side aignment of the auxiiary mast is maintained by rack and pinion gears. Whees and Tyres Large, high-oad capacity poyurethane press-on oad whees are 355 mm diameter x 205 mm wide. The Vukoan drive tyre is 406 mm diameter x 170 mm wide. Guide whees for rai guidance are 150 mm diameter x 50 mm wide. Safety Reguations Conforms to European safety standards.
