5 2. DO NOT CRANK THE CAR WHEN CHARGE IS ON PROCESS. OTHER FEATURES, SUCH AS USB OUTPUT CAN BE USED DURING THE CHARGING PROCESS. 3. ONCE THE CHARGE IS FINISHED, PLEASE DISCONNECT THE CHARGER FROM THE POWER SOURCE AND DETACH THE DC PLUG FROM THE DEVICE. 4. THE DEVICE IS PROTECTED FROM EXTREME TEMPERATURE, SO IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO OPERATE AT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE LOWER THAN -20 OR HIGHER THAN +45. IN FACT THE OPERATION MAY NOT BE ACTIVATED OR MORE CRANK ATTEMPTS MAY BE NECESSARY. MOREOVER, THE CHARGING PROCEDURE WILL NOT START IF THE TEMPERATURE OF THE BATTERY PACK IS EXCEEDING THE RANGE FROM 3 TO MALFUNCTION BATTERY INDICATOR WILL BE FLASHING SIMULTANEOUSLY AS PROTECTION CIRCUIT HAS BEING ACTIVATED. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM BEFORE TURN ON THE DEVICE AGAIN. CONDITION BEFORE USE Ensure the beow conditions are guaranteed before pressing the JUMP START button Ensure the capacity of the battery is fu Ensure the contact terminas of the car battery are cean. Jump Start can ony be used when the spectrum ights up to GREEN or YELLOW. Erase any corroded substance from battery terminas and ensure correct contact point at the cip. Pease note that the battery terminas must be propery connected before pressing the JUMP START button. 5 / 13

6 4. Ensure the cabe is propery wired and we connected. Jump Start can t be used when the spectrum of ORANGE, RED ight is iuminated or RED ight is fashing, fuy charge the device immediatey. Detach by removing the pug ony & DO NOT pu the cabe to detach it from the device. 2. Ensure the poarity is propery connected DO NOT bend the cabe when carrying the device. 8 OPERATION OF CAR CRANKING Step 1 Step 2 Connect the Battery Press power button for 1 second to turn the device on. Attach the red positive camp (+) to the positive (+) battery post, then attach the back negative camp (-) to the car chassis or to the negative poe of the battery. Indication: Fuy charged condition as indicated on eft is important for cranking the car successfuy. Jump Start can ony be used when the spectrum ights up to GREEN or YELLOW. Step 3 Step 4 Cranking the car Cranking up the car then turn power off Once the car engine has started, press power button again to turn the power off. Remove the cips (negative cip first) from the battery as soon as possibe. Press JUMP START button to turn on the JUMP START function Indication: 8 / 13

9 JUMP START red ight is on Note: Red ight is fashing, the votage of car battery is too ow or it is short circuiting or dead. ATTENTION! 1. The activity of engine cranking wi ast for 4 seconds and the device wi automaticay cut the power off. If the vehice has not started within this time, wait for 15 seconds and repeat again. (Maximum 5 cranking attempts are recommended, otherwise the device might be damaged.) 2. Once the car engine has successfuy started, pease press the power button to turn off the device A.S.A.P. 3. Aways re-charge the device after use and/or make sure it is fuy re-charged before use. 4. In case of reversed poarity or if you try to crank an engine exceeding its capabiity, the device wi be automaticay protected and a functions wi be terminated. The red LED of Jump Start wi fash. Pease turn off the device immediatey and try the next attempt unti the conditions are cear. OPERATION OF CAR WITH A WEAK BATTERY (EXTREMELY LOW VOLT.) Indication: Jump Start red ight is fashing 9 / 13

10 Power on the Mini Jump Starter. To energize the output manuay, hod the Jump Start and Weak Battery Jump Start simutaneousy for 3 seconds. The Jump Start ight is fashing and the camps wi be ive in this condition. Pease make sure the poarity is propery connected before these 2 buttons are pressed, otherwise the device wi be severey damaged. Turn the vehice s starter over unti the engine starts, the device wi turn off after cranking for 4 seconds. If the vehice has not started within this time, wait for 15 seconds and repeat again. (Maximum 5 cranking attempts are recommended, otherwise the device might be damaged.) ATTENTION: 1. Once the car engine has successfuy started, pease press the power button to turn off the device A.S.A.P. 2. The device wi automaticay shut down when ided for 2 minutes. 3. Aways re-charge the device after use or have it fuy re-charged before use. 4. Even though the device has a protection, pease avoid trying to crank an engine exceeding its capabiity. 5. In case the operation on a car with a weak battery has faied and Jump Start red ight is fashing, the car battery is short circuiting or dead. Pease repace the battery as soon as possibe or get in contact with a professiona engineer to examine the car. OPERATION OF CAR MEMORY SAVER (OBDII CABLE NOT PROVIDED) Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Connect the OBDII pug to the OBDII port of the car. Insert the pug of OBDII into booster output. Press the power button to switch on the device and make sure that the device is fuy charged. (Location of OBDII underneath the dash board or beside the fuse box.) Hod the Memory Saver button for 5 seconds unti the battery indicator fashes rotatory under convection. It is now possibe to proceed with the battery repacement. 10 / 13

11 The device wi be turned off automaticay after 45 minutes. Pease ensure the battery repacement to be finished within this time. ATTENTION: PLEASE ENSURE THE PROPER CONNECTION & THE BATTERY INDICATOR FLASHES ROTATORY UNDER CONVECTION BEFORE BATTERY REPLACEMENT, OTHERWISE THE ELECTRONIC DATA WILL LOSE! Ensure the battery of the Jump Start is fuy charged before use. Ensure a car doors have been competey cosed. It is highy recommended to foow the instructions above, otherwise the car memory may go ost during the car battery repacement. When the car battery repacement is competed, power off the device and disconnect CAUTION the OBDII pug from the car. This MUST be done before the car engine is turned on, otherwise the device might be damaged. Whie using the device in this mode, keep the eectrica oad on the vehice to a minimum and monitor the battery indicator reguary. SIDE LIGHT Press SIDE LIGHT BUTTON to turn it on. The ight must be turned off after use, otherwise the battery power wi be depeted. 5V USB PORT Connect the eectronic appiance to the USB port of the device and turn the power on. It can deiver 5.0VDC 2.1A to power up most 5VDC input digita devices ike mobie-phone, tabet PC as we as other 5V USB products. ( Origina cabe is required for deivering maximum current ) Recommendation: If it is anticipated that the Jump Starters is to be used in very cod conditions, it is recommended that it is kept indoors in a warm environment. Furthermore, it is recommended that to keep the device on charge for overnight prior to use. It is aso recommended that when preparing for a jumpstart in extremey cod weather that you connect the cips to disabed 11 / 13

12 vehice battery and turn the POWER on, then activate the JUMP START feature by depressing the Jump Start button (JUMP START red ight on), then wait for 3-4 minutes prior to cranking the vehice. This wi hep activate or warm the disabed vehice battery for best possibe resuts. Sometimes it may happen that the car engine does not start at the first crank, so we recommended to take severa attempts (no more than 5), so that the battery is warmed up and its performances resut enhanced. To grant the best possibe performance of the device, it is recommended to recharge it every 3 months, or to refresh it at east one time within 6 months. If the battery is not fuy recharged after use and not reguary charged at the above stated intervas, the device wi not operate propery and may quicky deteriorate. The device is protected from extremey high temperatures, anyway it is not recommended to store it inside the car compartment during summer time, and recharge it at high ambient temperature. (Pease refer to page 4 at point 4 of this user manua). 12 / 13

13 IMPORTANT : Car Memory Saver Suppement Points Before disconnecting the positive cabe from the battery, it is extremey important to reaize this cabe is ive (it is receiving 12V from the Memory Saver s OBD port) and cannot come into contact with the negative cabe or the vehice ground. Use an insuator to cover the termina to protect it from accidenta contact with the negative cabe or vehice s chassis. Faiure to cover and protect the positive cabe termina may create a short circuit and cause damage to the Eectronic Contro Unit (ECU) or vehice s eectrica system and oss of vehice memory. Ensure a car doors have been competey cosed and a car accessories are off. WARNING: The vehice s eectrica system is receiving power from the Memory Saver through the OBD connection. Therefore, the vehice s battery connectors wi sti conduct eectricity and shoud be covered with an insuator to prevent the connectors from touching meta or each other and causing a short circuit. WARNING: To prevent overoading of a vehice fuse or other vehice damage, do not use the Memory Saver through the OBDII port if the vehice s current draw exceeds the vehice specifications when the vehice is in a KEY OFF condition. Some newer vehices continue to draw power for an extended period of time (cooing fans, aarms, etc.). Consut the vehice manufacturer s specifications to determine the vehice s exact current draw with a accessories off, then use an amp camp to determine the actua current draw. The Memory Saver cannot be used on vehices that draw more power than the smaest fuse in the OBD circuit, ECU circuit or vehice s eectrica system. Exceeding this fuse rating may damage the OBD, ECU and/or vehice s eectrica system. 13 / 13
