The sma one is the functiona switch. The togge switch is for mode switching. Mode Switching In any state, turn the togge switch from eft to right, to seect between tactica, outdoor and ockout modes. Tactica Mode Tap the Tactica switch to momentariy turn on the ight, reease it the ight wi go out. Fuy press the Tactica switch to constanty turn on the ight, press once again to turn off the ight. With the ight switched on, press and hod the Functiona switch over 1 second to enter Strobe, press and hod the Functiona switch again for 1 second to return to Genera mode. In Tactica mode, ony Turbo on Genera mode and Strobe on Fash mode are avaiabe. Outdoor Mode Tap the Tactica switch to momentariy turn on the ight, reease it the ight wi go out. Fuy press the Tactica switch to constanty turn on the ight, press once again to turn off the ight. With the ight switched on, singe cick the Functiona switch to cyce through Eco Low Med High Turbo. Press and hod the Functiona switch over 1 second to enter Fash mode, press and hod the Functiona switch again for 1 second to return to Genera mode. In Fash mode, singe cick the Functiona switch to cyce through Strobe SOS.

3 Lockout Mode In any state, turn the togge switch to off mark, the ight wi go out and enter ockout status, then the Tactica and Functiona switches don t work. For security, when Tactica switch is switched on, the battery eve indicator on the Functiona switch wi be it on to remind that Tactica switch is switched on, turn off the Tactica switch, the battery eve indicator wi go out. Instant Strobe With the ight switched off, press the Functiona switch to enter instant Strobe, reease it the ight wi return to off status. With the ight switched on instant Strobe, then simutaneousy press the Tactica switch to constanty ock on Strobe mode. Inteigent Memory Circuit The ight memorizes the ast seected brightness eve on Outdoor mode. When turned on again the previousy used brightness eve wi be recaed. Strobe is factory defauted each time the ight is turned on Fash mode. Boot-up Battery Leve Indication Each time the ight is turned on, the battery eve indicator wi automaticay dispay the battery status for 3 seconds. Green constant on: saturated Green fashes: sufficient Red constant on: poor Red fashes: critica Note: This ony works on rechargeabe LI-ion battery. Inteigent Protection The ight wi accumuate a ot of heat when it is working at Turbo mode. When the ight is overheated up to 65 or above, the fashight wi automaticay step down a few umens to reduce the temperature; when the temperature is ower than 65, the output wi graduay return to Turbo output eve. Low-votage Warning When the votage eve drops beow the preset eve with the ight switched on, ow votage warning wi be activated automaticay, then the battery eve indicator on the Functiona switch wi fash red to remind battery repacement or charging. The fashight is programmed to step down automaticay to a ower brightness eve unti Eco output is reached. To ensure norma use, the fashight wi not turn off unti the battery eve runs out or once the battery over-discharging protection activates. Note: This ony works on Li-ion battery.

4 Charging The battery hoder features charging function with a standard Micro USB port. 1. Take the battery hoder out of the ight, pug the USB port of the charging cabe into any USB power suppy. and pug the Micro USB side of the charging cabe into the charging port of the battery hoder. 2. The charging indicator wi dispay red whie charging, and wi turn to soid green when fuy charged. Note: Avoid conductive object ike coins, screws and keys when takes the battery hoder out of the ight, to protect from circuit damage caused by eectrode short circuit. Battery Repacement Unscrew the head to take out the battery hoder, and then insert the batteries in accordance with the poarity marks. After oading the batteries into the hoder, insert the hoder with its convex top towards the ight tai. Screw the head back on. Usage and Maintenance Disassembing the seaed head can cause damage to the ight and wi void the warranty. Fenix recommends using exceent quaity battery. If the fashight wi not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the fashight coud be damaged by eectroyte eakage or battery exposion. Long-term use can resut in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water sea, repace the ring with an

5 approved spare. Periodic ceaning of the battery contacts improves the fashight's performance as dirty contacts may cause the fashight to ficker, shine intermittenty or even fai to iuminate for the foowing reasons: A: The batteries need repacing. Soution: Repace batteries (Ensure batteries are inserted according to the manufacturer s specifications). B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty. Soution: Cean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing acoho. C: The battery protection board is in a protective state and unabe to free from it. Soution: Take out the battery hoder and repace it, or repace the batteries. If the above methods don't work, pease contact your authorized distributor.
