TM QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE Important Safety Information BEFORE USING THE MOBILEYE SYSTEM, CAREFULLY READ THE MOBILEYE C2-270 USER MANUAL AND THE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS IT CONTAINS. WARNING! MOBILEYE C2-270 IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SAFE AND ALERT DRIVING To avoid unwanted behavior, do not press any Mobieye C2-270 buttons before you understand their functionaity. TURNING ON THE MOBILEYE C2-270 Mobieye C2-270 is activated automaticay when you start your car. MOBILEYE C2-270 IS READY TO GO Foowing system initiaization, the Mobieye C2-270 EyeWatch Dispay Unit shows this screen. The system wi now start tracking your driving and warning you about potentia dangers. ALERT TYPES Mobieye C2-270 is a coision prevention system that suppies the foowing aerts: Forward Coision Warning (FCW) incuding motorcyce detection Warns you about an imminent coision with a vehice ahead of you. Pedestrian Coision Warning (PCW) incuding bicyce detection Warns you about an imminent coision with a pedestrian ahead of you. Lane Departure Warning (LDW) Warns you that you are about to unintentionay swerve from your ane. Headway Monitoring and Warning (HMW) Assists in maintaining a safe driving distance ( headway ) from the vehice ahead of you. Inteigent High-beam Contro (IHC) Automaticay switches from ow beams to high beams when no traffic is in cose proximity to your vehice on dark road.

2 Forward Coision Warning (FCW) WHAT IS FCW? WHEN IS FCW OPERATIONAL? FCW AUDIO ALERT FCW aerts you up to 2.7 seconds before possibe coision with a vehice ahead of you. FCW is aways operationa when the system is turned on. You hear a series of oud, high-pitched sounds. FCW VISUAL ALERT A red, fashing car icon is shown on the EyeWatch Dispay. Pedestrian Coision Warning (PCW) WHAT IS PCW? WHEN IS PCW OPERATIONAL? PCW AUDIO ALERT PCW VISUAL ALERT Important Note PCW aerts you of a possibe coision with a pedestrian ahead of you. Day Time - PCW is operationa from speed of 1 km/h and up to speed of 75 km/h (46 mph). Night Time Limited operation You hear a series of oud, high-pitched sounds. A red, fashing pedestrian icon is shown on the EyeWatch Dispay. 1. This feature is avaiabe ony on certain Mobieye C2-270 modues 2. This feature is avaiabe ony in certain geographica areas. NOTE: Forward Coision Warning and Pedestrian Coision Warning cannot be disabed or muted. However, if the system is turned off, NO WARNINGS wi be issued, incuding FCW and PCW. Lane Departure Warning (LDW) WHAT IS LDW? WHEN IS LDW FUNCTIONAL? LDW AUDIO ALERT LDW VISUAL ALERT LDW WILL NOT ISSUE ALERTS WHEN LDW aerts you when you begin to depart from your ane unintentionay. If you signa when moving between anes, an aert is not generated. The LDW is active at speeds above 55 km/h (34 mph). You hear a series of sharp warning beeps for a duration of 0.7 seconds. The right or eft Deviation Aert indicator fashes on the EyeWatch Dispay. Lanes are poory marked or unmarked You are driving at a speed beow 55 km/h (34 mph) You signa before changing anes. The LDW has been disabed. Sensitivity eve was set to zero (LDW OFF). You make a sharp turn (such as when exiting at a highway interchange). The system has been muted.

3 Headway Monitoring and Warning (HMW) WHAT IS HMW? HMW AUDIO ALERT HMW VISUAL ALERT Notice WARNING! WHEN IS HMW FUNCTIONAL? THE DISTANCE METER VISUAL ALERTS HMW dispays your headway reevant to the vehice in front of you. If you get coser than a pre-defined vaue, it aerts you to the danger. You hear a singe chime when headway is defined unsafe. The green car icon is dispayed from the moment a vehice is detected, and as ong as the headway is above 0.6 seconds. The car icon changes to red when the headway is ess than 0.6 seconds. You wi see the visua aert whenever a vehice traveing in front of you is detected. The numerica headway dispay and the audio aert are operationa ony at speeds greater than 30 km/h (19 mph). You wi see in seconds the headway to the vehice in front of you (distance is measured in Headway seconds ). Notice WARNING! HMW WILL NOT ISSUE AUDIO WARNINGS WHEN: The system has been muted. Inteigent High-beam Contro (IHC) WHAT IS IHC? WHEN IS IHC FUNCTIONAL? IHC WILL NOT SWITCH TO HIGH BEAMS WHEN Important Note The IHC assists the driver in controing the vehices high beams and increases their correct use by automaticay switching from ow beams to high beams when no traffic is in cose proximity to your vehice on dark road. The IHC is active at night when no traffic is in cose proximity to your vehice on dark roads. Whenever tai ights are recognized in front of the host vehice up to a distance of 400m and can track the vehice to we beyond this range. Whenever there is an oncoming vehice up to a distance of 800m. Whenever the host vehice enters a we it (urban) area or when street ights are detected. 1. This feature is avaiabe ony on certain Mobieye C2-270 modues 2. 4 Dispay Unit LEFT/RIGHT When a Lane Departure Warning is sounded, the Left or Right Deviation Aert DEVIATION ALERT indicator wi fash for 0.7 seconds. Pedestrian Forward Coision Aert HEADWAY VISUAL ALERT - (CAR ICON) HEADWAY DISTANCE METER LOW VISIBILITY Indication IHC INDICATION MUTE SYSTEM ON Zero speed indication Dispayed ony when a pedestrian or bicyce are detected ahead of you in the same ane. Dispayed ony when a vehice is detected ahead of you in the same ane. Coored green or red according to headway aert severity. A two digit number that dispays the headway (in seconds) from the vehice ahead. Ony vaues of 2.5 Headway seconds or ess are dispayed. Dimming of the Seven Segment (headway distance meter). Dispayed during ow visibiity conditions (bad weather, direct sunight, dirt on windshied, etc.) The Mobieye C2-270 continues to work but there may be degradation in detection abiity. If ow visibiity persists, check for possibe camera obstructions (dirt, humidity, etc.). Dispayed whenever the IHC is operationa. Mute mode is indicated by a fashing green dot in the center part of the EyeWatch Dispay. A green dot indicates that the Mobieye C2-270 is ON (operative). When the ego speed of the vehice is zero, the two bottom ines of the two digits are turned on (thus indicating zero speed).

5 2 3 System Limitations Mobieye C2-270 is intended for paved roads, with cear ane markings. Mobieye C2-270 does not see better than the driver. It is the driver s responsibiity to aways be aert, and aways depend on their own eyesight and fu attention and awareness when driving the vehice. Mobieye C2-270 detects fuy visibe rear ends of vehices. Therefore the detection of crossing, oncoming, and passing vehices, is not supported. Contro Pane 1 Mode Seection Turning the Mobieye C2-270 OFF/ON Turning OFF: To turn OFF the Mobieye C2-270 press the ( ) button unti the EyeWatch dispay turns off or ong press on the (-) button on the camera. Turning ON: To turn on the Mobieye C2-270, press on any button. Changing the EyeWatch dispay brightness eve: (1) Press the ( ) once. (2) Press the (-) (+) buttons to decrease or increase the brightness eve. There are 5 avaiabe eves (1-5). The C2-270 automaticay adjusts brightness eves for day and night. Changing the Headway Warning Timing: (1) Press the ( ) twice. (2) Press (-) to decrease the headway warning timing, or press (+) to increase it. Changing LDW Sensitivity: (1) Press the ( ) 3 times. (2) Press the (-) to decrease the LDW sensitivity, or press (+) to increase it. Changing PCW Sensitivity: (1) Press the ( ) 4 times. (2) Press the (-) to decrease the PCW Sensitivity, or press (+) to increase it. There are 3 avaiabe eves. Leve 0- disabes PCW warnings. Leve 1- ess sensitive (Pedestrian aert woud be given up to 10m). Leve 2- more sensitive (Pedestrian aert woud be given up to 30m). 4 Voume Contro (-) (+) Press the (-) button (repeatedy) to decrease voume. Press the (+) button (repeatedy) to increase voume. There are 6 voume eves (0-5). Note: When the voume is set to zero the LDW and HM sounds are disabed, but FCW sound is set to eve "3". Mute Option 1: Set voume eve to 0, either from the EyeWatch dispay or from the camera contro button. Option 2: To Mute press and hod the (-) button on the EyeWatch for 1.5 seconds. To Exit Mute press (+) Mute mode is indicated by a fashing green dot in the ower part of the dispay unit. Muting wi disabe the HW and LDW audio aerts. FCW cannot be muted Virtua Bumper Sensitivity (VB) To change the Virtua Bumper sensitivity press and hod the (+) button and then press on the (-) button for 1.5 sec. A red car icon wi start fashing and the numerica dispay wi show. Press the (-) to decrease the VB sensitivity, or press (+) to increase it. The VB sensitivity is imited between 0.5 meters and 2 meters. This feature is avaiabe ony when speed is "0". Mobieye C2-270 does not guarantee 100% accuracy in the detection of vehices or driving anes, nor in providing warnings of a potentia road hazards. In addition, road, weather and other conditions can adversey effect the Mobieye C2-270 system s recognition and response capabiities. Any conditions that form partia or fu bockage of the camera s view wi resut in reduced or non-functionaity of Mobieye C Aways ensure the camera has a cear fied of view.
