Both the conveyor bet and the auger system are suitabe for precise and reiabe dosage of spreading materia. Basicay, there is no difference in performance; both variants can be used with any spreading materia. It is your individua decision which you prefer in your appications. The twin auger system is recommended in mountain regions, since it has a particuary ow centre of gravity and offers the possibiity of dua chamber operation. Conveyor bet system The conveyor bet system empoys a V-shaped, fibre-reinforced endess rubber bet. An auger cover fitted as a standard reieves the weight of the spreading materia on the auger. The variabe thread ensures even discharge of spreading materia from the hopper. The difference between spreading dry and pre-wetted sat Sat represents the most important de-icing materia. There are severa procedures for its appication, enabing differentiated de-icing operations: In dry sat spreading, untreated sat is appied to the ground, whereas in pre-wetted sat spreading it is mixed with brine from appropriate tanks prior to its appication. This makes the sat stick more quicky to the treated surface in addition to acceerating and extending its effect. Since this technique invoves hardy any bounce and scatter, it is very cost-effective and environmentay friendy. Another variant is referred to as brine spraying, in which brine (a soution of sat in water) is appied to the ground. This procedure is designed for preventive de-icing at temperatures as ow as -6 degrees, permitting a 20 percent reduction in sat use. 7

In order to achieve maximum safety/spreading accuracy and versatiity, our customers can use state of the art contro and information systems ranging from the amount of spreading materia appied to route panning. We integrate a technica possibiities to make your work easy and comfortabe the choice is yours. CX contro pane The CX version is a fuy path-dependent and easy-to-understand contro pane that meets a requirements for accurate spreading operations. The contro pane is equipped with backit membrane switches, is waterproof and extremey robust. The contro knobs with cick grids are speciay deveoped for spreading operations. The CX version is prepared for the new EN data protoco. The ThermoLogic dosing system: Precisey adapt the amount of spreading materia to the current temperature and save money! The ower the temperature drops, the more sat is required this is why it is important to adjust the spreading density to current weather and road conditions. The sensor continuousy measures the temperature of the road surface and transmits it to the CL contro system. The dosage system responds, within a spit-second, to the temperature fuctuations registered and adjusts the dosage accordingy. The system is suitabe for a spreading and spraying appications (dry sat, pre-wetted sat, spraying iquids, spraying sat). Since the digita response system adjusts the dosage quicky and frequenty, approx. 15% of spreading materia can be saved! CL contro pane The CL version offers a great variety of contro and upgrade options with ThermoLogic, Auto- Logic and the Schmidt data management. The contro pane with a arge, iuminated graphic dispay incuding a comprehensive menu structure ensures intuitive handing. This comfortabe version is aso equipped with backit membrane switches, specia contro knobs with cick grids and is waterproof. The CL version is aso prepared for the new EN data protoco. Job controer The job controer the core component of the spreader. The easy-to-access computer is ocated in a cosed housing under the compartment hood. 13 Our new CX/CL Comfort and Comfort Pus system: The wireess contro connection between driver s cab and spreader The new wireess contro units without conventiona wiring between the driver s cab and the spreader ensure easier assemby and disassemby. The operationa readiness is increased and costy repairs e.g. due to overooking wires are avoided. The CX/CL Comfort kit It consists of two wireess modues one is ocated on the spreader and the other in the driver s cab. The two modues communicate with each other wireessy by radio: Once the two modues are synchronised, they form a cosed unit, thereby preventing crosstak between different spreaders. The CX/CL Comfort Pus kit can be upgraded with its own power suppy unit to create a competey wireess contro system. The CX/CL Comfort Pus kit is avaiabe for spreaders that are driven by vehice hydrauics, Rotopower as we as whee and engine power. To ensure that the spreader is aways ready for use, a tricke charger can be suppied as an additiona option. The AutoLogic spreading system: Ensure safe and precise spreading as we as unimited fexibiity in assigning personne. AutoLogic is an easy-to-use automated spreading system with programmabe routing as part of the SmartWinterCare Concept both the exact route and the precise amount of appied spreading materia can be saved for future use. Since route navigation in this system is performed via GPS and the spreading parameters are set automaticay, the AutoLogic system enabes the driver to aways concentrate on the road a vauabe contribution to road safety! To coect the required data on routes and spreading performance, a reevant routes ony need to be driven once.
