14 MasterfeX MOUNTED POINTS Masterfex mounted points are the answer to difficut grinding and finishing work on stainess stee/auminium fabrications and precision castings. Masterfex mounted points are aso widey used in too rooms and die shops for maintenance and rectification work on mouds and dies. Our Masterfex range of points is unique in construction and versatie in appication as they remove stock and poish. Unike standard bonded or coated abrasives Masterfex products are aminates of reinforced non-woven cotton fibre. The cutting and finishing properties are the resut of abrasive grain and fibres impregnated by a specia process. This materia is then pressed and bonded to produce uniformy impregnated abrasive points. The compete range of Masterfex points combines the free cutting quaities of vitrified pointsn with the smoothing and finishing action of coasted abrasives to meet a wide range of grinding, bending and poishing appications. APPLICATIONS The Masterfex range of points was deveoped specificay for the grinding, poishing and bending of stainess stee, auminium and other metas, stees and aoys. Industria users incude: aerospace, shipbuiding, jeweery, toomakers, automotive industry, cutery and manufacturers of stainess stee pressure vesses, storage tanks, heat exchangers, hoppers and sinks. Shape and size of the mounted point. 2. Size of mandre. 3. Overhang of mandre. 4. Points specifications. Taking the first three factors noted above into consideration, ook up the maximum operating speed in the corresponding tabes. The overhangs indicated on the tabes are for unthreaded mandres.
