General: Pilots maintain 1000ft QFE within 10nm of the aerodrome on departure and 1500ft within 10nm on recovery from low level. b. Departures: Visual circuit traffic climb to 500ft AGL before turning, avoid overflying local villages. c. Visual circuits: Only visiting aircraft from RAF Wittering, RAF Cranwell (excluding Hawk aircraft) and Barkston Heath are permitted in the visual circuit, however, requests from turbo-prop aircraft will be considered.
