DISCONNECT BATTERIES BEFORE SERVICING. DRAIN THE SOLUTION SYSTEM PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. 1 See Figure 1. Install the Step Bushings (4) and Screws (7) on the back of the recovery tank as shown. Hang the Caddy Assembly (preassembled items 3, 10 & 21) on the Step Bushings (4). 2 Install the Wand Assembly (20), Hose Assembly () and Coupler (19) onto the Caddy as shown. 20 Nilfi sk, Inc. 3 3 See Figure 2. Mount the Pump (15) as shown using Screws (9), Nuts (8) and Washers (6). NOTE: No drilling required, mounting holes already exist. It may be necessary to cut factory installed Cable Ties from the wiring harness to facilitate pump installation. The pump wiring connects to the existing plug under the rear of the machine with VIO and BLK wires feeding it, remove the weather pack seal from plug fi rst. Before proceeding, remove the elbows from the pump (if installed), apply pipe sealant to the threads and reinstall as shown 4 Install Grommet (12) as shown. 5 Install Bulk Head Adapter (5), Barb (25), Nipple (1) and Plug (18) as shown. 6 Route and connect Hose (13) using (2) Hose Clamps (16) as shown. Cut Solution Hose (A) midway between the solution fi lter and the solenoid valve as shown. 8 Install the Tee (23) between the two hose sections as shown using (2) of the Hose Clamps (). 9 Install Hose (27) as shown using (2) of the Hose Clamps (). 10 See Operating Instructions. 5 AXP /EDS, EcoFlex SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS 7 See Figure 4. Cut Solution Hose (B) midway between the solution pump elbow and the small tee as shown. 8 Install the Tee (2) between the two hose sections as shown using (2) of the Hose Clamps (). 9 Install Hose (22) as shown using (2) of the Hose Clamps (). 10 See Operating Instructions. 6 Operating Instructions: 1 Assemble Wand Assembly (20) and connect one end of Hose Assembly () to the Wand Assembly (20). Connect the Quick Disconnect (C) to the Wand Assembly (20). 2 Disconnect the Hose (D) from the squeegee and insert Coupler (19) into the end, connect the other end of Hose Assembly () to the Coupler (19). Connect the Quick Disconnect (E) from Hose Assembly () to Plug (18) under the right rear corner of the machine. 3 Re-connect the batteries, fi ll the solution tank at least half full. Turn the Key Switch (F) ON and push the Wand Kit Button (G) or the Vacuum/ Wand Button (H) (depending upon when your machine was built) on the touch pad control panel to turn ON the Vacuum and Pump System.
