The SCX1500A-3 offers users unprecedented work precision and efficiency, and ore than aple power for any job. Be in control of a crane that takes perforance to new levels, with an uncoproised approach to work. Boo width 2000 A high-rigidity boo for the toughest jobs Both the boo foot width and boo width, as well as the bracing strength, have been increased to iprove the strength of the boo itself. This helps to deliver advanced stability during work, to reduce side deflection and twisting throughout the front of the crane, and to ake positioning loads quicker. A ast syste has been eployed to iprove operating response. Cobined with a new brake* that offers better operating feel, the crane delivers siply outstanding workability. A 13.5 t-rated line pull winch (rope φ28 ) is optionally available. * Optional extra The 3rd winch has a new ultiple wet-disc type brake with a 12 t-rated line pull winch and large winding capacity 220 long rope. A φ class casing driver can also be handled. The crane has been designed so that it can be operated by anyone, exactly as they intend to, instead of relying on the operator s level of experience or skill. Outstanding usability has been the key behind developent, and can be experienced at your work site, wherever in the world that ay be. Rear winch otor (aux.) Operations can be adjusted at will to suit the particular job. Cobined hydraulic circuits The hydraulic syste uses HSC s own unique cobined hydraulic circuit. By increasing and optiizing the pup pressure through the use of a ixed circuit to control the hydraulic oil fro two hydraulic pups, the sense of operability in travelling, hoisting/lowering, swing and boo hoisting can be enhanced. Even for ultiplex operations, the latest hydraulic control syste is able to support all tasks efficiently through priority control atching the needs. This helps to achieve a sense of operability that atches the intent of the operator. Swing neutral brake Switches for swing free/swing brake when the control lever is in the neutral position have been installed. When the swing lever is in the neutral position, the operator ay choose between free or brake depending on the work and personal preferences. More precise control at any speed The iage has been exaggerated for illustration purposes. The photo is with the 3 rd winch (optional) installed. New ultiple wet-disc type brake with iproved control feel Swing brake operation pedal The optional brake uses a new ultiple wet-disc type that offers better control. A hanging brake pedal gives the operator sooth and precise response. Reliable braking perforance is now a reality even under high loads, all while iniizing disc teperature. The syste can even be used for heavy digging and foundation work that utilizes free-fall operation*. *Free-fall function is an optional extra for odels equipped with the 12 t rated line pull winch. See the Spec. catalog for ore details. A swing brake operation pedal has been eployed to ensure precise swing control under strong-wind situations. Perforance has been retained while offering a design that allows efficient transportation, assebly and disassebly. Assebly is safer and faster with direct connections between the ast and each pendant on the boo Redefining the assebly and disassebly process with the ast syste The use of a ast syste that allows the entire ast to be lowered with the upper spreader structure drastically iproves pendant joint work and the boo assebly process. Other features such as siilarly shaped counter weight ake assebly and disassebly processes easier, while labor-saving hydraulic hose connections and safe operation ean the crane is an all-round winner when it coes to assebly. Hook-on and joint pin design for crawler side frae assebling The crawler side frae can be ounted with a side frae joint pin reoval cylinder that iprove assebly and disassebly iensely. The design also ensures safer work. Easier and faster assebly/ disassebly of the crawler side frae with the QuickDraw feature Designed for ease of transportation and QuickDraw for efficient assebly and disassebly QuickDraw is available that allows self-installing/reoval of heavy crawler side fraes. This feature allows assebly with saller helper cranes handling the counter weights (up to 9 t). Other assebly procedures can be conducted at the sae tie, which further increases assebly efficiency. Counter weight self-assebly unit [Transportation] A counter weight self-assebly unit has also been installed to ake self-assebly easier, and to save tie. Note) When the counter weight self-assebly unit has been installed, the shape of the counter weight differs to the standard specification. The rear end swing radius of the crane also increases, so extra care ust be taken when operating the crane. The picture is for the SCX A width suited to trailers results in transportation cost savings The crane is less than 3 wide and weighs less than 30 t, which akes it easier to load on to trailers. This in turn helps to reduce costs related to transportation. A swing cab echanis has also been eployed to increase the boo foot width further, for ore reliable crane operation and exceptional ease of transportation. A siple, easy-to-view interface has been designed to ensure that inforation is provided to the operator in the ost reliable way possible. Various accident prevention easures and ultiple redundant safety devices have also been included to provide cofort for the operator. Rest assured that your work is safe, backed with a full copleent of advanced safety equipent. Moent liiter display Slows down here Swing liitation area Swing restriction unit This device prevents the crane fro swinging into objects and causing daage, by notifying the operator of the swinging range and autoatically stopping the crane when required. The result is an added level of safety when working in tight areas. Dru and rear view onitor syste Four onitoring caeras have been installed to ake it easier to oversee the condition of the front /rear dru, boo hoist dru, back and left-rear. Various warning alars and inforation are conveyed to the operator to help reduce the nuber of careless accidents. The width of the skywalk (optional extra) has been increased to ake assebly easier. All these cobine to ensure work is conducted as safely as possible. A large screen display has been used offering excellent visibility and field of view of any job. A host of ites can be shown, while a siple display layout ensures that inforation is provided to the operator properly. The display has also been designed with an interactive interface to follow any oveent of the crane fro a safety perspective, which helps to liit unintended operations and aintain utost safety. When a height restriction is set in advance in the lifting height eter, the slowdown function will kick in as the restricted height is approached to prevent hook overhoist. The SCX1500A-3 brings together a new cleaner running engine and advanced control syste (ECO winch ode, auto idle stop function) for energy-efficient operation. One of the first odels to eet EU Stage IV/U.S. Tier 4 Final exhaust gas eission regulations, the SCX1500A-3 also offers exceptional fuel efficiency and outstanding operation and control. Urea tank Maintenance-free operation The Urea SCR Syste does not include an internal ceraic filter for reoving PM, as the high-efficiency cobustion of the engine iniizes PM generation. Siply refilling with AdBlue eliinates the need for any further aintenance on the exhaust syste that could affect operations, for a high level of practicality with day-to-day work. Urea SCR Syste An exhaust gas aftertreatent device that injects AdBlue (urea fluid) into the exhaust gas to break down NOx gases into harless water and nitrogen via a cheical reaction. Treating the NOx in the exhaust helps to aintain the engine s high cobustion efficiency and iprove fuel efficiency and power output. Precautions with the new clean engine Always use diesel for the fuel, specified lower ash oil (DH-2 <JASO>, CJ-4 <API> class) for the engine oil, and specified engine coolant. The Urea SCR Syste ay undergo autoatic regeneration (cleaning) to aintain its perforance level. AdBlue is a registered tradeark of the Geran Association of the Autootive Industry. Copared to the previous odel (Stage III A/ Tier 3), eissions of NOx (nitrogen oxides) and PM (particulate atter) have both been reduced by approxiately 90%*. In addition to the lowest level of exhaust gas eissions, lower fuel consuption also helps to cut down on CO2 eissions. The SCX1500A-3 represents the path of evolution into a ore eco-friendly achine. Refilling frequency Once per two refuelings The SCX1500A-3 requires AdBlue to be refilled once every two ties the achine is refueled. (AdBlue consuption ay vary slightly depending on operating conditions) Precautions with achines installed with the Urea SCR Syste To ensure that the achine can be used safely and soothly, use AdBlue aqueous solution (or a urea aqueous solution that coplies with JIS or ISO standards). Using a non-standard aqueous solution or diluting the solution before use ay cause echanical probles. Malfunctions arising fro the use of non-standard aqueous solutions are not covered by the HSC warranty service. The reaining AdBlue level can be checked during work on the onitor display (Moent Liiter) in the cab. A warning is displayed on the onitor when the reaining level becoes low or there is an issue with quality. The engine power output will be liited if the reaining AdBlue level falls below the iniu level or there is an issue with quality, so be sure to plan refills in advance. The Urea SCR Syste is designed exclusively for the achine, and ust not be used for any other purpose. Rinse with water any solution that coes in contact with skin. When storing the solution, always use sealed containers and store at roo teperature in a well-ventilated location out of direct sunlight. When carrying the solution, always use the container that the solution was purchased in, or other specified container. The Urea SCR Syste includes a heater function, however sufficient care ust be taken to prevent freezing when the solution is stored in cold regions (freezing teperature: -11 C) Read the instruction anual for ore details.
