2 Addendu No. 4 Page 2 of 25 MRS1 Bid docuent: Addendu No. 4 Part, Section, Clause, Description, Page, Location etc. Requireents, Section-6A: ERGS Clause 1.1.4: Scope Page 4 of 63 Aendents The Scope of Works under this Contract covers design, anufacture, supply, testing and coissioning of passenger rolling stock and the training of operation and aintenance personnel for Mubai MRTS. The Scope also covers supply of spares, special tools, testing and diagnostics equipent, jigs and fixture etc for aintenance, repair and overhaul of cars. The cars required for the corridors shall be of odern design, lightweight ade of stainless steel/aluiniu, with 3 phase AC drive having V.V.V.F control, regenerative braking, suitable for CBTC based ATP, ATO, etc. provided by other Designated Contractors and shall be suitable for Unattended Train Operation conforing to Grade of Autoation GOA4 as specified in IEC :2006. The cars shall operate on 25 kv AC single phase 50 Hz flexible OCS syste for elevated and atgrade sections. The detailed perforance requireents, and design criteria of the cars and equipent are covered in Eployer's Requireents -Technical Specification. The Scope of Works under this Contract covers design, anufacture, supply, testing and coissioning of passenger rolling stock and the training of operation and aintenance personnel for Mubai MRTS. The Scope also covers supply of spares, special tools, testing and diagnostics equipent, jigs and fixture etc. for aintenance, repair and overhaul of cars. Requireents, Section-6A: ERGS Clause 6.9.1: Test Software Page 37 of 63 All test software, with the exclusion of built-in test software, shall be produced in accordance with a quality syste controlled under the requireents of accepted international standards. Test software shall be developed and docuented using structured techniques and shall be designed to be aintainable throughout the duration of the Contract. All test software shall be docuented to be supportive of aintenance. Any test software, which is to be delivered to the Eployer (for long ter testing use), shall be fully docuented including source code listings to allow the Eployer to aintain the software for the life of the supported syste. All test software, with the exclusion of built-in test software, shall be produced in accordance with a quality syste controlled under the requireents of accepted Bidding Docuent for 'MRS1'

Test software shall be developed and docuented using structured techniques and shall be designed to be aintainable throughout the duration of the Contract. Thirty days before the date of coenceent of test running of the first EMU train, the Contractor shall deliver the originals and 6 coloured copies each of the final Operation and Maintenance anuals. These anuals shall have been subitted for proof reading and training purposes prior to delivery. It is accepted that further aendents ay subsequently be required. Passenger doors shall be of bi-parting, power operated sliding doors into door pocket accoodated inside the car body side structure. The two door panels at each passenger doorway shall be synchronously controlled and shall provide a door clear opening width of 1400.The passenger door pitch shall be approxiately equally spaced to provide the sooth passenger flow. The Rolling Stock contractor shall provide KE and door drawings of train to PSD contractor for placeent of Platfor Screen Doors. The passenger door pitch shall be copatible with that of passenger pitch of the PSD being installed in the stations. Platfor Screen/Edge Door (PSD/PED) shall be provided for this project. Passenger doors of train shall be as per Chapter 7. The two door panels at each passenger doorway shall be synchronously controlled and shall provide a door clear opening width of 1400.The passenger door pitch shall be approxiately equally spaced to provide the sooth passenger flow. The actuation of the deflection device due to ipact of the object, shall initiate the eergency brake and shall be recorded by the TCMS. Siilar bogies as proposed for this tender, shall have been in use and have established their satisfactory perforance and reliability on at least three ass rapid transit systes in revenue service over a period of five years or ore (in each MRTS) either outside the country of origin or in Indian Metros. The Tenderer should subit perforance certificate on the letterhead of etro operator, confiring that the supplied bogies have copleted satisfactory perforance for ore than five years. The axiu offloading of wheels ΔQ/Q shall not exceed 60% of noinal wheel load for track twist 1 in 330 and axiu cant grad 1 in 200 in both inflated and deflated conditions up to axiu perissible speeds. Coprehensive, flexible and fully autoatic test bench(s) shall be provided to test an overhauled/newly assebled gear case with transission arrangeent and duly ounted on the wheel set. Squeal noise shall be easured for at least one sharpest curve by placing icrophone at 7.5 distance fro rail centre at 3.5 height fro rail top toward the direction of both inner rail and outer rail at elevated section (beyond the parapet wall by fixing the icrophone on suitable height pole/ ast etc.) or at grade, with noral vehicle operating conditions (i.e. TOR, WFL,Wheel Dapers as available in operating condition) including all installed assets, environental and track conditions as per ISO 3095 at noral operational speed. An intelligent air copressor anageent (with option of forced start) shall be provided to ensure that both the copressors on a six-car train are operated during fill-up and both the copressors in the train are operated alternatively thereafter, to avoid oisture condensation in the copressor due to low duty cycle. In the event of total failure of electric brakes and one air copressor on a fully loaded six as well as eight car train, the reaining air copressor on the train shall have sufficient capacity to enable the train to reain in service for at least four (4) hours. An intelligent air copressor anageent (with option of forced start) shall be provided to ensure that both the copressors on a six as well as eight car train are operated during fill-up and both the copressors in the train are operated alternatively thereafter, to avoid oisture condensation in the copressor due to low duty cycle. The brake coponents, valves etc. shall have been in use and have established their satisfactory perforance and reliability on at least three ass rapid transit systes in revenue service over a period of last five years or ore (in each MRTS) outside the country of origin in three different countries or in an MRTS in India. The options for brake syste have been specified in clause Train braking perforance shall be as specified in Chapter 3, Clause and shall be designed for 90 kph. The operational speed shall be 80 kph. The syste shall generally confor to EN The brake syste and coponents shall be proven, state of art and widely used in odern etro rolling stock. The brake coponents, valves etc. shall have been in use and have established their satisfactory perforance and reliability on at least three ass rapid transit systes in revenue service over a period of last three years or ore (in each MRTS) outside the country of origin in three different countries or in an MRTS in India. The options for brake syste have been specified in clause Train braking perforance shall be as specified in Chapter 3, Clause and shall be designed for 90 kph. The operational speed shall be 80 kph. The syste shall generally confor to EN Requireents, Clause Page 86 of 240 The EP brake shall be so designed that its control function including Wheel Slide Protection (WSP) can be taken over by the other redundant control eleents in the case of failure of individual electronic or electrical control eleents. Redundant power supply and processor card for hot stand by in the control unit and spare slots for I/O cards shall be ensured. However, any other suitable design for redundancy of EP Brake control function including WSP ay be proposed by the Contractor subject to approval of the Engineer. The EP brake shall be so designed that its control function can be taken over by the other redundant control eleents in the case of failure of individual electronic or electrical control eleents. Redundant power supply and processor card for hot stand by in the control unit and spare slots for I/O cards shall be ensured. However, any other suitable design for redundancy of EP Brake control function ay be proposed by the Contractor subject to approval of the Engineer. Bidding Docuent for 'MRS1'

12 Addendu No. 4 Page 12 of 25 Requireents, Clause Page 88 of 240 Parking brakes shall be applied in the event of loss of the ain copressed air supply. The parking brakes shall be capable of release fro within the driving console when the copressed air supply is present. With no copressed air supply available, it shall be possible to release individual parking brake actuators anually fro saloon. Application of parking brakes shall also be controllable fro the driving console and reotely fro OCC. The design shall be such that the parking brakes will take effect prior to fade off of service brake and shall ensure that the cobined brake effect of the pneuatic brake and parking brake is never less than the full brake effort of the parking brake alone. Parking brakes shall be directly actuated by MR pressure. Parking brakes shall be applied in the event of loss of the ain copressed air supply. The parking brakes shall be capable of release fro within the driving console when the copressed air supply is present. With no copressed air supply available, it shall be possible to release individual parking brake actuators anually fro saloon or fro platfor level. Application of parking brakes shall also be controllable fro the driving console and reotely fro OCC. Requireents, Clause Page 88 of 240 In the event of air leakage fro the air feed to parking brake/within the unit and consequential application of parking brake/traction block, arrangeent shall be provided for isolation and anual release of Parking Brake(s) so that traction block is released and train is operable as usual. The parking brake anual release arrangeent shall be provided in each car and it shall not be accessible to the passengers. Separate Isolating cocks (PIC- Parking Isolation Cock), adjacent to the Isolating cocks (BIC) shall be provided in each car. For DM cars, these shall be in Driving Console. No traction block shall occur on account of parking brakes, after the sae has been isolated. In the event of air leakage fro the air feed to parking brake/within the unit and consequential application of parking brake/traction block, arrangeent shall be provided for isolation and anual release of Parking Brake(s) so that traction block is released and train is operable as usual. The parking brake anual release arrangeent shall be provided in each car or at platfor level and it shall not be accessible to the passengers. If anual release arrangeent for parking brake is provided at platfor level then special tools shall be provided for accessing it fro platfor level when train stops at any position with respect to Platfor Screen Doors (PSD). Two (2) no. of such tools shall be provided in each train. Separate Isolating cocks (PIC- Parking Isolation Cock), adjacent to the Isolating cocks (BIC) shall be provided in each car. The anual eergency release device shall be provided with spring loaded cover to ensure water tightness. This shall require a special key so that only authorised personnel can operate the sae. On each side of every car, a device (Eergency Access Device - EAD) shall be provided. The location of EAD shall be finalized through interface with the PSD Contractor during design stage with the approval of Engineer. This device shall be operable fro outside the vehicle fro platfor level or track-side. Operation of this device shall release the locking echanis on the adjacent door. Manual eergency release device shall be unobtrusive, flushed with, or recessed into, the car side, but readily available in an eergency. The anual eergency release device shall be provided with spring loaded cover to ensure water tightness. This shall require a special key so that only authorised personnel can operate the sae. The syste shall react iediately to lock down the other pantographs to avoid any physical daage to the syste. It shall be deonstrated through the tests. Lubrication of otor and gearbox bearings shall be accessible without the need of equipent reoval. Calculations supporting the choice of bearings shall be subitted for review. Workstation Controller shall be equipped with suitable software incorporating detailed odeling of the cab, under-frae, roof etc. In addition, exhaustive fault troubleshooting directory (prograable with facility for augentation/editing of different scenarios) shall be available. Evaluation of response file of the trainee with respect to the loaded troubleshooting scenario(s) shall be reasonably autoated (by coparing with standard response file) to aid the instructor and to highlight the non-conforing response(s). g. Suitable facility in IWS to enable video calling between IWS and Trainee on the Motion Based Driving Siulator/ DSW. h. Suitable capacity UPS for at least back up of 1 hour. c. Exhaustive library of iages for generating CGI. The library shall be expandable. d. Exhaustive troubleshooting directory covering all ajor equipent, coplete with standard expected response for faults up to two hundred (200) Nos. to be included. Provision shall be available with increasing the nuber of faults with facility for editing/augenting the fault scenario. e. Suitable package with Interactive graphics shall be provided for indicating the exact location of any coponent on the train. Detailed instructions (with graphics interface) shall be provided to enable access to the specified coponent. f. Coputer Based Tutorials (CBT) covering up to 15 different scenarios such as rescue operation, isolation of doors, isolation of bogie brakes, evacuation of passengers in the section etc. shall be provided with graphics and siple to explain instructions. Each CBT package shall be of approxiate 30 inutes duration. Such CBT packages shall be designed to operate on any workstation/window based desk coputer. Coentary of the CBT packages shall be subitted to Engineer for approval. g. Data Base Manageent Syste for organizing the detailed record trainee s response and evaluation thereof. h. Power Shut Down button at all Instructor Workstations (IWS) for shut down the coplete Siulator Module in case of eergency Deleted Training: Training of Project Owner personnel for suitable duration shall be included either at Project Owner preises and at the preises of the fir engaged for developing the CGI, Troubleshooting directories, Data Base Manageent Syste and CBTs etc The contractor shall provide the optiized layout of the Motion Based Driving Siulator and other auxiliary roos required to house the siulator. Adequate roos and space shall be incorporated in the sae layout for classroo for the trainees, rest roos, pantry, chaber of instructor and office for the Project Owner s engineers. Detailed instructions with video graphics on 46 LED touch screen onitor for assebling / disantling for each subsystes as entioned in clause above and any other sub-syste(s) as suggested by the Engineer during design stage. d. Detailed instructions of e-learning with audio and video graphics for carrying out preventive and corrective aintenance actions with linked tools and spares. e. Detailed data base (including part nos., drawing nos., vendor details etc.) of the various parts/coponents f. Detailed description and function of each part including electronic cards in text, graphics, logic diagras etc. g. Detailed description of the software with graphics, detailed flow diagras, logic diagras etc. with detailed narrative explanation. h. Extensive library of faults and standardized response for rectification of faults. The nuber of faults in the library of each odule would be average 250 or as agreed by the Engineer during design stage. Provision shall also be available for recording of the actions initiated by the trainee for rectification of the faults. i. Detailed Testing procedure of different equipent (including provisions in the relevant standards) with graphics. j. Any other feature that would assist in training of the aintenance personnel. k. Data Base Manageent Syste for organizing the detailed record trainee s response and evaluation thereof General Maintenance Siulator Modules (GMSM): The Contractor shall supply 6 nos. of GMSM Modules. After copletion of this training these Project Owner s Engineers will be authorized and provided with all necessary hardware/software tools for inor odifications and additions in odeling in close coordination with Siulator contractor, up to the copletion of DLP. The Contractor shall provide full descriptive anuals for Operation, Maintenance and Training in the use of the Motion Based Driving Siulator, Driving Siulator Workstation (DSW), Maintenance Siulator and associated equipent. The Contractor shall also supply a catalogue of spare parts for the equipent.
