It controls the strt, stop nd direction of flow. It siclly comprises housing (1), the solenoid (), the hrdened vlve system (3) nd the control spool (8). Bsic principle: In the initil position, the control spool (8) is pressed onto the set y the spring (9) nd in spool position y the solenoid (). he force of the solenoid () cts vi the ngled lever (6) nd the ll (7) on the control spool (8) tht is seled on two sides. he chmer etween the two seling elements is connected to port. hus, the vlve system (3) is pressurecompensted in reltion to the ctuting forces (solenoid or return spring). Importnt: he 3/ directionl set vlves hve "negtive spool overlp". herefore, port must lwys e connected. ht mens tht during the switching process from the strting of the opening of one vlve set to the closing of the other vlve set ports re connected with ech other. his process tkes, however, plce within such short time tht it is irrelevnt in nerly ll pplictions. he mnul override (10) llows for the switching of the vlve without solenoid energiztion. Function of the lus-1 plte: Initil position: he min vlve is not operted. he spring (9) holds the ll (4) on the set (11). ort is locked nd is connected to. prt from tht, one control line is connected from to the lrge re of the control spool (1), which is thus unloded to the tnk. he pressure pplied vi now pushes the ll (13) onto the set (14). Now, is connected to B, nd to. rnsition position: When the min vlve is operted, the control spool (8) is shifted ginst the spring (9) nd pressed onto the set (15).
