4 4 FUNCION he solenoid-operted directionl spool vlves of the 4WE 6 type re used to direct nominl flow nd consist of one vlve housing (1) n ssocited vlve spool (2). Depending on the type, the vlve is equipped t lest two return springs (3) nd one or two pole tues (4) nd solenoid coils (5) ech. he hydrulic control of the vlve is crried out through the ctution of the vlve spool y the use of solenoids (5). solenoid is converter which converts electricl energy into mechnicl energy. he energised solenoid cuses the oil-immersed mgnetic piston to mke liner stroke movement. It uses the guide rod (6) to move the vlve spool into the desired position. his cuses the nominl flow directions etween the respective ports to e relesed or closed. o otin the vlves optimum switching cpcity, the pressure-tight chmer of the pole tue should lwys e filled oil. he vlve spool is pushed ck into the strting position y the pproprite return spring fter de-energiztion of solenoid. he mnul override (7) enles vlve opertion out energising the solenoid. Without return spring detent OF his lterntive descries the so-clled impulse vlve. his is 4/2-directionl vlve 2 solenoids nd detent. he detents re used to lock the vlve spool in the respective switching position. here is no need to permnently energise the solenoid, which consequently contriutes to energysving opertion.
