In the de-energised condition oth ctutor ports re connected to the tnk. If one of the two solenoids (2 or 3) is energised, then the solenoid force moves the vlve spool (4) ginst the spring (5 or 6). If no input signl is eing pplied, then the min spool (7) is held in the centre position y the centering spring (4). he two control chmers in the covers (5 nd 6) re connected vi the vlve spool (2) to the tnk. he min spool (7) is connected to suitle control electronics vi the inductive position trnsducer (9). the positionl chnge of the min spool (7) s well s the ltertion of the commnd vlue t the summtion point of the mplifier produces differentil voltge. With the commnd vlue/ctul vlue comprison possile control devition is recognised vi the electronics nd n electricl current is pplied to the proportionl solenoid of the pilot vlve (). he current induces, within the solenoid, force which is pssed onto the solenoid pin which in turn ctutes the control spool. he flow which is provided vi the control cross-sections cuses the min spool to move. he min spool (7) with the ttched core of the inductive position trnsducer (9) is moved until the ctul vlue is equl to the commnd vlue. In the closed loop controlled condition the min spool (7) is force lnced nd is held in this closed loop controlled position.
