Do not operte the sw when tired, distrcted, or under the effects of drugs, lcohol or ny mediction tht impirs reflexes or lertness. Sty lert! Give your work your undivided ttention. 3. Keep the work re well lit, clen nd free of deris. Cluttered res nd enches invite injuries. 4. Keep children nd shop visitors t sfe distnce while operting the sw; do not permit them to operte the scroll sw. 5. Childproof nd tmper proof your shop nd ll mchinery with locks, mster electricl switches nd switch keys, to prevent unuthorized or unsupervised use. Use rush, not hnds, to cler wy chips nd swdust. 10. Be sure tht sw lde is properly instlled, nd in proper cutting direction, efore opertion. Alwys use clen, properly shrpened lde. Dirty or dull ldes re unsfe nd cn led to ccidents. Also, e sure the lde hs gined full operting speed efore eginning to cut. 12. Avoid working from wkwrd or off lnce positions. Do not overrech while cutting; keep oth feet on floor. Never len over or rech ehind the lde nd never pull the workpiece through the cut from ehind. 13. Never stnd or len on the sw. Serious injury could occur if the unit is tipped over or if the lde is unintentionlly contcted. 14.
