Containing more gass than standard beakers, fasks and cyinders, Pyrex Heavy Duty gassware products are more resistant to impact damage. This resuts in fewer chips and cracks which often eads to the premature faiure of the gassware, eading to more frequent repacement and re-ordering. Due to their ow profie and wider diameter, these cyinders are more stabe than traditiona ta form cyinders. Both the squat form and ta form Heavy Duty cyinders compy with ISO 4788 Cass B requirements.
