If operated with the workpiece gripping point beyond the indicated ranges, an excessive off set load will be applied to the sliding section of the fingers, which can have an adverse effect on the service life of the product. If operated with the workpiece gripping point beyond the indicated ranges, an excessive offset load will be applied to the sliding section of the fingers, which can have an adverse effect on the service life of the product.
