10 Instrution on mounting nd use Consult the designs in the front pges referened in the text y lphet letters. Closely follow the instrutions set out in this mnul. All responsiility, for ny eventul inonvenienes, dmges or fires used y not omplying with the instrutions in this mnul, is delined. Use The hood hs een mde for use in the internl reirulting filtering version. Cooking fumes nd stem re spirted inside the hood, filtered nd lened, pssing through the ft filter/s nd the ron filter/s tht MUST e supplied with the hood. Attention If the hood is not supplied with ron filter, then it must e ordered nd mounted. Instlltion The minimum distne etween the supporting surfe for the ooking vessels on the ho nd the lowest prt of the rnge hood must e not less thn 50m from eletri ookers nd 70m from gs or mixed ookers.if the instrutions for instlltion for the gs ho speify greter distne, this must e dhered to. Eletril onnetion The eletril tension must orrespond to the tension noted on the lel pled inside the ooker hood. Connet the eletril plug, where provided, to the n esily essile outlet in onformity with lol stndrds in fore. Where n eletril plug is not provided (for diret onnetion to eletril network) ple stndrds pproved ipolr swith with n perture distne of not less thn 3mm (essile) from the ontts. Attention: sustituting the supply le must e rried out y the uthorised tehnil ssistne servie. Mounting Expnsion wll plugs re provided to seure the hood to most types of wlls/eilings. owever, qulified tehniin must verify suitility of the mterils in ordne with the type of wll/eiling. It is reommended tht the ooker hood sution is swithed on for 5 minutes prior to ooking nd to leve in opertion during ooking nd for nother 15 minutes pproximtely fter terminting ooking. The hood is equipped with TOUC SESOR devie le to determine the ontrol of the lights nd the speed when the user touhes the ontrol r. Red the instrutions elow refully for this purpose. The hood is lso supplied with remote ontrol for ontrolling light, speed nd other funtions (see the prgrph relting to the funtioning of the remote ontrol). Automti swith-on funtion The hood is equipped with temperture sensor tht strts the motor t the 1 st sution speed (power) when the room temperture round the hood is higher thn 70 C. The user n, however, swith off or modify the sution speed (power). (See prgrph Control of sution speed (power)). Control of sution speed (power) The seletion of the sution speed (power) is ylil, ording to the speed sequenes stnd-y Stnd y so tht t every touh of the UPPER PART of the ontrol r the sution speed (power) inreses y level nd then to swithes off (stnd-y) if the ontrol r is touhed gin when the hood is t sution speed (power) 4. It is possile lo turn the hood off (stndy) even when the hood is t ny speed y pressing the UPPER PART of the ontrol r (for more thn 3 seonds). It is possile to determine wht sution speed (power) the hood is in when the r is equipped with led tht hnges olour on the sis of the sution speed (power), s follows: ood in stnd-y: ED OFF 1 st sution speed (power) - led GREE 2 nd sution speed (power) - led ORAGE (mer) 3 rd sution speed (power) - led RED 4 th sution speed (power) - led RED (FASIG) ote: the 4 th sution speed (power) remins on for 5 minutes, fter whih the sution motor swithes off (Stnd-y). 11 Control of the lterl lights (when envisged) The lterl lights n e swithed on nd off y touhing the OWER PART of the ontrol r COTIUOUSY. A COTIUOUS TOUC llows, other thn swithing on nd off, djusting the intensity of the light of the lmp. Using the remote ontrol The remote ontrol is le to ontrol ll the funtions of the hood: Selet the sution speed (power) Control the entrl light Control the lterl lights Reset e onfigure the sturtion of the filters signl Seleting the sution speed (power): Press the " " key or the " " key until you see the symol relting to the Selet the sution speed (power) funtion. Press the + key or the - key or the " " key respetively to inrese or diminish or swith off (stnd-y) the speed (sution power). Controlling the entrl light: Press the " " key or the " " key until seeing the symol relting to the Controlling the entrl light funtion on the remote ontrol. The entrl light n e swithed on nd off in two wys: 1. Press the + key or the - key respetively to swith the entrl light (O) or (OFF). 2. Press the " " key to hnge the stte of the light from (OFF) to (O) or vie vers. Controlling the lterl lights: Press the " " key or the " " key until seeing the symol relting to the Controlling the lterl lights funtion on the remote ontrol. Press the " " key to hnge the stte of the lterl lights from (OFF) to (O) t mximum intensity nd vie vers. Press the - key to diminish the intensity of the lterl lights until swithing them off. Press the + key to inrese the intensity of the lterl lights. Resetting nd onfiguring the sturtion of the filters signl Swith the hood on t ny speed (see prgrph ove Seleting the sution speed (power ). Press the " " key or the " " key until seeing the symol relting to the Resetting nd onfigurtion of the sturtion of the filters signl funtion on the remote ontrol. Resetting the nti-ft filter sturtion signl (GREE ED FASIG on the ontrol r) First proeed with the mintenne of the filter s desried in the orresponding prgrph. Press the + nd - keys ontemporneously for out 3 seonds. The ED stops flshing, inditing tht the resetting of the signl hs een omplished. Resetting the ron filter sturtion signl (ORAGE (mer) ED FASIG) ote The reset of the ron filter sturtion signl is normlly detivted. To tivte it, see under prgrph Ativting the ron filter sturtion signl. First proeed with the mintenne of the filter s desried in the orresponding prgrph. Press the + nd - keys ontemporneously for out 3 seonds. The ED stops flshing, inditing tht the resetting of the signl hs een omplished. Ativting the ron filter sturtion signl The reset of the ron filter sturtion signl is normlly detivted. To tivte it, proeed s follows: Swith the hood off (see prgrph ove Seleting the sution speed (power) ). Press the " " key or the " " key until seeing the symol relting to the Resetting nd onfigurtion of the filters sturtion signl funtion on the remote ontrol. Press the + nd - keys ontemporneously for out 3 seonds. The ED will flsh in ORAGE (mer). To detivte the ron filter sturtion signl, repet the opertion. The ED will flsh in GREE. Mintenne of the remote ontrol Clening the remote ontrol: Clen the remote ontrol with dmp loth nd neutrl solution of detergent without rsive sustnes. Chnging the ttery: Open the ttery sing using smll srewdriver with flt point. Chnge the finished ttery with new one of 12 V type M21/23 In inserting the new ttery respet the polrity indited on the ttery sing Close the ttery sing up gin. Mintenne Prior to ny mintenne opertion ensure tht the ooker hood is disonneted from the power supply. Clening The ooker hood should e lened regulrly (t lest with the sme frequeny with whih you rry out mintenne of the ft filters) internlly nd externlly. Clen using the loth dmpened with neutrl liquid detergent. Do not use rsive produts. DO OT USE ACOO Wrning: Filure to rry out the si stndrds of the lening of the ooker hood nd replement of the filters my use fire risks. Therefore we reommend oserving these instrutions.

When wshed in dishwsher, the grese filter my disolour slightly, ut this does not ffet its filtering pity. Chrol filter (filter version only) Fig. 25 It sors unplesnt odours used y ooking. The hrol filter n e wshed one every two months (or when the filter sturtion indition system if envisged on the model in possession indites this neessity) using hot wter nd suitle detergent, or in dishwsher t 65 C (if the dishwsher is used, selet the full yle funtion nd leve dishes out). Eliminte exess wter without dmging the filter, then put it in the oven for 10 minutes t 100 C to dry ompletely. Reple the mttress every 3 yers nd when the loth is dmged. Repling lmps Disonnet the hood from the eletriity. Wrning Prior to touhing the light uls ensure they re ooled down. Chnging uls: only use hlogen uls, mx 35W 40 GZ10. Removing the ul: rotte nti-lokwise qurter turn nd tke out. Mounting the ul: insert the ul in its set so tht its ontts enter the ongruent sets on the ul-holder, rotte lokwise for out qurter turn. If the lights do not work, mke sure tht the lmps re fitted properly into their housings efore you ll for tehnil ssistne. externlly. Filure to oserve the regultions out lening the hood nd sustituting nd lening the filters n led to the risk of fire. The suked ir must not e onveyed in onduit used for dishrging fumes produed y pprtuses fuelled y gs or other fuels. Cooking food on the flme under the hood is severely prohiited. The use of open flme dmges the filters nd n use fire; it must therefore e voided in ny se. Frying must e rried out under ontrol in order to prevent overheted oil thing fire.
