Connet the pigtil to the wires inside the frme y using the lue wire onnetors. Crimp onnetors with pliers. Reommended For Indoor Use Only. 4

If the nswer its 24 volt plese follow the instrutions elow. *For 16 Volt AC/DC opertions Mintin the solenoid wiring onfigured for V. Be dvised tht with 16 Volt soure, the Model 5000 is ple of 10% Intermittent Duty Cyle (e.g. On for 2 seonds followed y Off for 20 seonds with n On time not to exeed 2 minutes ontinuous. 16 Volt AC/DC Cple (10% Intermittent Duty Cyle) Instller Hint When djusting the srews for field seletility, vetern instllers suggest dding drop of Lotite to the srews efore tightening them into their finl position for dded durility. Step 6 Do you use Stndrd or LBM? If the nswer is stndrd ontinue to step 7. If the nswer is LBM follow the instrutions elow. Step 6 Wht is LBM? LBM stnds for Lth Bolt Monitoring. 5 Step 7 Do you need fil seure or fil sfe? If the nswer is fil seure follow the instrutions under step 7. If the nswer is fil sfe follow the instrutions under step 7. Instller Hint When using the trim enhner you will need to mke the utout slightly lrger thn the tul dimensions given for the strike. This will llow spe for the trim enhner. Step 8 How do I tth the feplte? Step 7 Wht is fil seure? Fil seure mens if the strike loses power it remins loked. All HES strikes ome stndrd s fil seure. If you need to onvert the strike to fil seure Loosen srews, ut do not remove them. Move srews into fil seure position s shown. Tighten srews. Step 7 Wht is fil sfe? Fil sfe mens if the strike loses power it remins unloked. If you need to onvert the strike to fil sfe Ple feplte on eletri strike ody. Atth the feplte to eletri strike ody using the feplte srews provided with the feplte option kit. Step 9 Do you wnt to use trim enhner? If the nswer is no ontinue to step 10. If the nswer is yes plese follow the instrutions elow. The trim enhner llows the instller to over up rough or inorret sized frme ut. Loosen srews, ut do not remove them. Move srews into fil sfe position s shown. Ple trim enhner on eletri strike ody. Tighten srews. Atth the trim enhner to eletri strike ody using the provided trim enhner srews. 7 8
