13 17 To instll ottom rod follow steps elow. 1 Pullmn Type Lth (Optionl) Thred rod pproximtely 1/2 (hlf wy) on to djusting olt of ottom lth ssemly. Thred rod pproximtely 1/2 (hlf wy) on to ottom slide olt. Insert slide olt/ rod ssemly into ottom slide olt rket on door. Slide olt Stndrd Pullmn Type Lth (Optionl) d Insert leg of retining plte through hole in rod nd hole in ellrnk. Tighten srew. 1 Pull upwrd on rod until slide olt is flush ross ottom of rket. Thred rod up or down s required until hole in rod ligns with hole in ottom of ellrnk. Instll retining plte s shown in step "d". Instll srew in retining plte s shown. 14 18 Verifition of rod djustments With door open, depress top lth tripping mehnism. Relese or undog touh r ssemly. Verify tht top lth is extended fully, ellrnk is ompletely down nd ottom slide olt or lth hs extended fully. Verify dedlthing of top lth y ttempting to push in on top lth olt. olt should not move. If lth olt moves inwrd, top rod is to long you must re-djust its length. djust top rod y removing the retining plte. Rotte rod lokwise (right) to shorten nd ounter lokwise (left) to lengthen. djust hlf turn t time. fter ded lth funtion hs een verified, instll retining plte & srew. Re-hek ottom slide olt or lth for proper djustment. ottom slide olt or lth should e flush ross ottom of lth rket when lthes re held retrted y tripping mehnism in top lth.
