6 INLINE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE RELIEF PROTECTION Offers secodary relief protectio to the hydraulic drive uit. ADJUST PRESSURE Adjust pressure to your drive uit idepedetly from the paret machie. This allows for maximum torque adjustmet of the drive uit ad esures that screw achors are ot subjected to excessive torque resultig i damage or destructio of the screw achor. PLUG & PLAY SYSTEM Pressure gauges are mouted to the valve to moitor pressure. Use o its ow, or with your existig drive uit ECV. 7 INLINE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE EASY TO INSTALL 1. Coect the pressure hose from the machie that will rotate the shaft of the drive uit clockwise to the port marked [ P ] I. 2. Coect the machie retur lie hose to the port marked [ T ] Out. 3. Coect the port marked [ P ] Out to the pressure side of the motor. 4. Coect the port marked [ T ] I to the retur side of the motor. Attach the Gauges directly to the ¼ NPT Ports o the face of the valve. The Differetial Pressure Gauge displays the hydraulic pressure beig applied through the drive uit, which ca the be referece back to a torque chart to give a theroretical torque measuremet. The Digga Torque Logic moitorig system will provide accurate torque readigs of over 99% accuracy. 9 PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL GAUGE TORQUE MEASURING SYSTEM WHY USE A TORQUE MEASURING SYSTEM? Whe Screw Piles/Piers are istalled, a torque readig is required to esure that these have bee istalled to the correct specificatio. Project egieers will geerally demad that a specific torque requiremet be reached, depedig o what the piles/piers are beig istalled for. Traditioally, torque is calculated by a sigle sesor gauge located at the hydraulic pump (A) i the excavator. This is ot a true accurate measuremet, as pressure is lost as the oil travels up the boom to the Drive Uit. Added to this is also aother loss factor of back pressure created as the oil is trasferred back to the paret machie. Pressure readigs ca be out by as much as 15-20% by the use of this sigle gauge system. Digga s Torque Measurig System comprises of two sesors, the first sesor is located o the supply lie at the etry to the drive uit (B). The secod sesor is located o the retur lie where oil leaves the drive uit (C). A microprocessor calculates the actual usable pressure usig these two sesors, givig a true readig which is up to 12-15% more accurate tha traditioal methods. The readig is displayed i BAR or PSI depedig o the optio chose at the time of purchase. This figure is correlated to a supplied torque chart to give the pressure readig i Nm or Ft/Lb.
