1 Solar Cotrollers Secod ProStar geeratio The ProStar is a microprocessor-cotrolled solar cotroller that features umerous additioal fuctios, besides exhaustive-discharge ad overcharge protectio. For example, it switches over from 12 to 24V depedig o applicatio. The ProStar is available for 15 or 30 A ad for 12, 24ad 48V. The battery type (gel, dry-cell or wet-cell battery) ca be set by meas of a cotact. Both the battery coectio ad the module coectio are protected agaist reverse polarity. As a optio, the ProStar is available with a liquidcrystal display (LCD) ad a master switch. The master switch allows the solar modules ad the load to be coected ad discoected. 11 Solar Cotrollers Morigstar SuSaver Duo The charge cotroller for two batteries The SuSaver Duo is a charge cotroller with pulse width modulatio. It charges two batteries simultaeously. This system is ideal for motorhomes ad boats as the "oboard battery" ad the "egie battery" for example ca be loaded usig the same photovoltaic system. The priorities of the batteries ad may other parameters ca be selected ad adjusted by the user accordig to the respective requiremets. All settigs are made usig the separate cotrol pael. It operates i oe of these operatig modes. Two or more cotrollers ca be used for simultaeous usage of several fuctios.
