Compared to other air cleaer styles, this ew air cleaer family delivers the performace of competitive larger air cleaers i a compact, rugged desig. With heavy-duty plastic costructio ad o-metal filters, the air cleaer is lighter, more efficiet ad easier to istall ad replace tha competig products. Aother key desig feature is the built-i moutig brackets. There's o eed for additioal moutig support. The two stage desig features a built-i pre-cleaer that separates up to 85% of airbore cotamiats. The FKB's plastic housig ad durable costructio eables istallatio i all types of mediumdust eviromets with egie air flow from 2-10 m³/mi. 5 FKB Service Istructios Istallatio Recommedatios Shut off your egie. Air cleaer orietatio is horizotal, with the drop tube poitig dow - withi +/- 15. For service clearace, allow the etire legth of the filter for removal ad 35mm for service cover latches. Moutig is M8 x 1,25 with a maximum torque of 20,34 Nm. Coectios: Ilet/Outlet maximum torque 4,52 Nm Idicator port maximum torque 2 Nm. Ilet accessory ote: The air cleaer housig ca accommodate a lightweight ilet hood, but ot a pre-cleaer or ay other accessory. Use of a uapproved itake accessory will void your Doaldso warraty. Service Istructios 1 Shut off your egie 2 Remove service cover Ulatch ad remove the service cover. To remove the primary filter, press ad rotate filter couterclockwise util filter is free. 3 Remove the filter Getly pull the filter out of housig. Avoid dislodgig cotamiat from the filter or kockig it agaist the housig. 4 Clea the iside surface With a soft rag, thoroughly clea the iside surface of the housig. Be careful ot to itroduce cotamiat ito the outlet tube. 5 Check the safety filter Check safety filter for damage. If damaged, replace. Also check to isure that the safety filter is properly seated i the housig. It should fit sugly iside the outlet tube. 6 Ispect the ew primary filter Ispect the ew mai filter carefully. Check for ay voids, cuts, tears or idetatios i the urethae-sealig surfaces. 7 Istall the ew filter Istall ew filter by pressig ad rotatig the filter clockwise util fully egaged to stop. 8 Replace the cover Replace the service cover. The INLET arrow should lie up with the air cleaer ilet. DO NOT force cover oto air cleaer. The cover should go o with o extra force. If cover is ot flush to the body, the filter is ot properly seated i the housig. 9 Refaste the latches Refaste latches to secure cover. Make sure that latches peetrate the slots i both the body ad the cover. 10 Ispect Ispect ad torque all clamps, bolts ad coectios i the etire air itake system.
