2 A Message From The President Ken Mauer is traveling with his job, so I am putting this together so please excuse my mistakes or omissions. I want to thank everyone who participated in our trip to Trissl Motorsports in Florence AL. That was a great visit complete with lots of gorgeous Porsche s and lunch compliments of Jason and Thomas. Thanks guys, we look forward to next year s Uber Fest. Thanks also to those who attended Kars4Kids at Baptist Children s Home. This is a great charity event and hope you who missed it can attend next year. Our Surprise Curvy Roads mystery tour is May 4 th, followed by our club meeting at Cozymel s on May 13 and then the 2 nd Annual Concours d Elegance at Edwin Warner Park. All the details and registration information are on our website. Everyone who pre-registers and pays on will receive a free 8 color concours shirt. If you internet challenged, drop Vic Davis a check for $20 in the mail to Vic Davis, 1524 Crockett Hills Blvd, Brentwood TN and include your car information (year, model, etc) along with shirt size. Make check out to MSKPCA. Also drop him and me an with this information so we can get you set up. Pre-registration closes on Wed, May 14 so hurry to get that free shirt. 9 For Sale - Porsche Carrera S II 19 Wheels and Michelin PS2 Tires These wheels & tires were originally on a 2009 Porsche 911S. I had the OEM Carrera S II wheels powdercoated and pin-striped in Sept The tires are Michelin PS2's and I'd say have ~60-70% tread life remaining. Sizes / offsets: Front wheels -- 19" x 8"; ET 57 Rear wheels -- 19" x 11"; ET67 Front tires /35ZR19 (87Y) Rear tires /30ZR19 (100Y) The wheels include the OEM TPMS monitors and black center caps with colored crest. I can't guarantee that the TPMS monitors are still active as they have not been on a car in quite a while. One of the rear wheels has some very light scratches on it which are only visible up close/in direct light; I don't think you can see them in the pics. Other than that, they're in perfect condition - straight, true and no curb rash. The red pin stripe is a perfect match to the red calipers on the Carrera S models. One of the tires was plugged and patched at JPA Nashville due to picking up a small nail but presented no issues while on the car. Asking $2,300 for the complete set of (4) wheels and tires (including TPMS and center caps). Must see if seriously interested as the pics don't do them justice! 11 NAMETAGS FOR PICK-UP Many members have paid for nametags, but haven t been to a meeting lately to pick it up. Please come and pick up your nametags. Club Name tags $5 Because of cost increases in name tags, your club is paying more now for each name tag ordered. We also have an inventory of 36 name tags ordered at a dinner meeting, and member has not been seen since. If you ordered a name tag, please come to our next meeting to pick up. If you aren t sure, me and I will confirm whether you have a name tag in my bag. We will continue to order name tags for members, but cost will return to $5 each which is a good price considering the quality of the name tag. Feel free to wear these at other car club events, including Cars & Coffee, Winterfest, etc. I also have magnets for those members with pin backs who would prefer magnets (thanks Eric).
