6 Presidents Message The Summer is winding down. Signing up for PCA Escape is still available. Sept. 6 is the WMR Ionia IROC event. They attend ours and let us use their timing equipment at Spartan Speedway. In return, we attend their event, I ll help again w/tech., as I did last year. The ICE CREAM run is comming soon, and the Northern Michigan Color Tour in Oct. See newsletter for dates. The new 911 is now 3M coated, waiting for a bra w/ screens to keep bugs out of radiators. Jackie drove it with a grin from ear to ear, her first time driving a Porsche. We took a first place Concours trophy at the annual SEM picnic. It was really hot that day (90+). 8 DRIVER S EDUCATION EVENT The Western Michigan Region PCA is offering its version of the 2009 Sensory Stimulus Package to you! Those who enjoy the art of driving should mark their calendars for September 18, 19 & 20, 2009 three days of track time at GRAND PRIX OF GRATTAN at Grattan Raceway, NE of Grand Rapids. The course is both challenging to 65 experienced drivers and a great learning experience for 15 novices!
