28 GFL shaft-ounted helial gearboxes General inforation Diensioning Notes on the seletion tables Motor voltages The power values and torques indiated in the seletion tables relate to the following otor voltages: 50 Hz : Δ 230 V / Y 400 V 60 Hz : 230 V or 460 V 87 Hz : Δ 400 V Operation at 87 Hz In 87 Hz operation, the three-phase AC otor (whih is designed for a voltage of Δ 230 V / Y 400 V at 50 Hz) is operated on an inverter with 400 V rated voltage in a delta onnetion. It is iportant to note here that the inverter ust be onfigured for 87Hz output. This offers the following advantages over 50 Hz operation: the setting range of the otor is inreased by a fator of 3. the otor an then provide around 3 ties greater output, whih in turn allows a saller and ore affordable otor to be seleted for the appliation. the effiieny of the otor is also iproved. - 18

These otors are attahed to the gearbox without the use of a luth. Torque transission between the toothing and the otor shaft is frition-loked via a tapered onnetion here. This otor design eans that the geared otors only require a sall installation spae. L-fore MD three-phase AC otors are available in a power range fro 0.06 to 45 kw and oply with effiieny lass 4IE1 (standard effiieny) as per IEC Basi versions The theral sensors integrated as standard allow for peranent teperature onitoring and are oordinated to the otor winding's teperature lass F (155 C). The otors of the basi version are adapted to abient onditions by enlosure IP55. In tough operating onditions, the surfae and orrosion protetion syste is provided to reliably protet the otor fro orrosive edia. Options Various brake sizes eah available with several braking torques an be obined with the three-phase AC otors. The LongLife version of the brake an easily reah 10 x 10 6 swithing yles. A resolver and various inreental and absolute value enoders an be fitted for speed and position detetion. For fast oissioning, the otors are also available with onnetors for the power onnetion, brake, blower and feedbak. Instead of an integral fan, the otor an optionally be equipped with a blower. No torque redution is then neessary, even at speeds below 20 Hz. For drive tasks in deentralised appliations, the otor an be ordered with the ote inverter onneted to the terinal box. The otors are available with URus, GOST-R, CCC and UkrSepro approval. Sooth start/braking is possible by inreasing the otor's entrifugal ass with a ast iron fan. The otor an be equipped with a handwheel for anual setup or eergeny operations. To protet the fan fro falling objets, the fan over an be equipped with a protetion over. A 2nd shaft end is available for further odifiations V01-en_GB-02/20

This obination optiises the perforane of the brake depending on the assignent of brake oil voltage and supply voltage: Short-tie overexitation of the brake oil Ativating the brake oil for the overexitation tie t ü with twie the rated voltage allows the disengageent tie to be redued. The brake opens ore quikly and wear on the frition lining is redued. These features ake this ativation version partiularly suitable for lifting appliations. It is therefore only available in obination with a brake with inreased braking torque. Holding urrent redution (old brake) By reduing the holding urrent, the bridge/half-wave retifier is able to redue the power input to the open brake.
