2 R 4000 Modular shelvng system R 4000 the mult-talented shelvng system The versatlty of the R 4000 modular shelvng system makes t partcularly sutable for ndvdual storeroom layouts, snce t can be extended to maxmse the avalable space. The strong hgh-grade steel constructon wth securely located base and top shelves and full-heght uprghts offer smple assembly and ease of handlng. Wth shelvng adjustable n ncrements of 53 mm, the system s partcularly sutable for storng small and medum szed tems. The R 4000 shelvng system can easly be reconfgured to create countless varatons and can also be converted to a mult-ter nstallaton wth mezzannes. The modular shelvng systems ncludng mezzanne platforms have been gven the test certfcate to dsplay the GS sgn accordng to the gudelnes for storage facltes and devces BGR 234 (formerly ZH 1/428). B37

3 MODULAR SHELVING SYMS The bolt-free system The R 4000 modular shelvng system s an extendble, bolt-free desgn avalable n bay wdths of 995 and 1283 mm. The shelvng bays consst of base and top shelves wth full-heght uprghts. All parts are smply locked together. As the R 4000 conssts of very few components, the system can be quckly and easly erected. The extensve range of accessores s sutable for both the starter and extenson bays. Wth ts sturdy steel constructon, countless easly re-confgurable varatons and smple assembly, the R 4000 wll more than meet your requrements. The R 4000 shelvng rows must all begn wth a starter bay. Every shelvng row must have a starter bay, to whch extenson bays can be added to the rght or left. Each addtonal extenson bay s then attached to the adjacent bay usng the same prncple. All starter and top shelves are clpped together. In order to stablse the shelvng longtundnally, a cross brace must be ftted to the frst and every thrd bay thereafter.
