Especally the mcroprocessorcontrolled chargng process of the automatc chargers, whch ncludes up to 7 steps, grants the gentle chargng of your battery. The selecton of a hgher cutoff voltage makes t possble to fully charge batteres n wnter, or even AGM batteres. Many of our chargers can also be used outdoor. Thanks to the protecton type IP 65 the housng s best protected aganst water jets and dust. All IVT chargers are characterzed by a very gentle chargng profle. The fully automatc, mcroprocessorcontrolled 7step automatc charger 10 A was desgned for the professonal use n workshops as well as for frequent use at home. Conventonal batteres are charged n the summer mode. The wnter mode s recommended at ambent temperatures < 10 C as well as generally for AGM batteres. The cutoff voltage n wnter mode s ncreased to 14.7 V. Mantenance mode montors the battery and keeps the vehcle ready for use: Batteres n seasonal vehcles whch are only used sporadcally should permanently reman connected to the charger. The cutoff voltage n the respectve mode s 7.2 V (for 6 V batteres) and 14.4 V (for 12 V batteres). The chargng current s lmted to 1.0 A. Automatc regeneraton mode and desulfaton: When a battery s connected, the charger frst determnes ndependently ts chargng status (deepdscharged, partally dscharged). If the battery s detected as deepdscharged, the chargng process wll automatcally start n the regeneraton mode. At ths, pulsng chargng currents are appled n order to acheve a battery voltage level whch allows for ntaton of the regular chargng functon. Should ths not be possble, the battery s detected as faulty, the error beng ndcated by optcal sgnal. Eventually exstng sulfate layers wll be reduced by the pulse chargng or even completely removed. The handy, fully automatc plugn charger PLC001P s a costeffectve opportunty to gently charge your 6 V and 12 V lead batteres startng at 1.2 Ah. Should the battery be connected wth reverse polarty or n the case of a defectve battery, the charger detects these condtons and ndcates them by means of the LEDs located on the front sde of the unt. Wth the ntellgent 5step chargng method and the ntegrated mantenance chargng functon the battery voltage s permanently montored and the battery optmally recharged f necessary.
