2 > Backgrund and challenges Electric Vehicle charging statins belng t different netwrks and perate with different cnditins f access and payment. Charging vehicles can be difficult fr users in many cases, especially when they drive utside their lcal area. This reduces the ptential t shift rad transprt twards electrmbility. There is a need fr: interperability f electrmbility services a cmmn data and infrmatin mdel fr bjects and services standardisatin f infrmatin exchange and service prvisin an pen system t integrate existing ICT services in a seamless way access t large data, t frecast demand and ptimise charging, minimising impact n the grid.

3 > NeM prject gals and bjectives NeM will: Create a Hyper-Netwrk f new and existing tls, mdels and services which will prvide seamless interperability f electrmbility services, creating an pen, distributed and widely accepted ecsystem fr electrmbility. Bring seamless raming (already successful in mbile telecmmunicatins, credit cards, etc.) int the dmain f electrmbility services, paving the way fr a Pan-Eurpean eraming framewrk.
