1 INSTRUCTION FOR INSTALLATION AND INJECTION HEAD DN 15 - PN - VHF PM - 218/17/03/GB The instructins fr installatin and service f injectin head are binding fr users t ensure prper functin f injectin head. The user must keep the rules said here while servicing, installatin and using. 1. TECHNICIAL DESCRIPTION AND VALVE FUNCTION: 1.1 Descriptin Injectin head, equipped with ne t three nzzles with fixed gemetry, that wrks n the mechanical principle f atmizing. Tw types f nzzles are used. Type H serves fr injecting a higher water quantity where a full cne f bigger drplets f injected water is created. Type N utilizes a high pressure drp acrss the nzzle fr very fine spraying f the injected water. This design is nt recmmended fr cntrl ranges higher than 1 : Aplicatin Injectin head is designed t accurately cntrl cling water injectin t the flw f water steam. Using fr sme ther medium shuld be cnsulted with prducer. 2. DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND OPERATING OF INJECTION HEAD 2.1 Preparatin befre installatin The injectin head is delivered frm the cmpany assembled, adjusted and tested. Befre installatin int pipeline yu must check the data n the name-plate with data mentined in accmpanying dcumentatin. Then check if the injectin head is nt damaged and dirty. Pay attentin especially t inner space and packing surface f injectin head. 2.2 Installatin the injectin head int pipeline Injectin head must be installed int pipeline s that flw f medium is accrding t arrws n the flange. The injectin head can be installed in any psitin. Fr prper functin f injectin head, belw-mentined instructins must be beyed: - n excessive frces can be transfered frm pipeline t injectin head. - the pipeline must be cleaned frm dirt befre injectin head installatin. - it is recmmended t keep clean space arund the injectin head fr easy manipulatin and service. Space arund the injectin head = minimum length L (acc. t dimensinal sketch - length " L "). - installatin itself must be dne precisely Checking after installatin After installatin, piping system shuld be pressured and checked if there is n leak. 2 2.3 Operating and service When the injectin head is used fr medium with high dirt-cntent is prbability that jet will be wear ut r jet will be clg. Failure will result in lss f cling pwer. In this case the prfessinal service must be called. 2.4 Eliminatin f defects and malfunctin Enrmus increasing f nise Enrmus increasing f nise can be caused by exceeding f perating parameters mentined n the nameplate r by presence f undesirable particle in injectin system f injectin head. It is necessary t check the state and cnsult it with prducer Injectin head can t attain value temperature f steam There is need t test the functin and tightness f cntrl valve fr water injectin. If valve is all right then take nzzle ut and test functin with the assistance f water pressure. 2.5 Spare parts Spare parts are nt part f injectin head delivery. They must be rdered separately. When the spare parts are rdered, fllwing data must be written: type f a injectin head, registratin number f injectin head and name f a spare part. 2.6 Guarantee cnditins The prducer des nt guarantee the prduct peratin and safety if the prduct was used in ther way than stipulated in this instructins fr installatin and service and catalgue data sheet. Any use f the prduct under different cnditins must be cnsulted with the prducer. The prducer des nt take ver the guarantee if the user makes any change r mdificatin t it withut prir written cnsent frm the prducer. 2.7 Lading with wastes Packaging material and the injectin head shall be dispsed f in the cmmn way such as by handing ver t a specialized enterprise fr dispsal f (bdy and metal parts - metal waste, ther nn-metal parts - cmmunal waste).
