DESCRIPTION Mag-Nus2 by RBM represents the slutin t slve plant prblems due t particle presence, especially rust and sand that are frmed due t crrsin and scale during the nrmal peratin f a system. OPERATING PRINCIPLE: Thrugh its effective and cnstant actin, the magnetic filter cllects all impurities in the system and prevents them frm circulating: therefre it avids wear and damage f all cmpnents f the system. The impurities blcked by the filter accumulate at the bttm f the filter, until they are expelled when the discharge valve pens. USE: It is advised t install Mag-Nus2 n the return circuit, at the inlet f the biler, in rder t prtect it frm any impurities in the system, especially during the start-up phase. It is imprtant t fllw the directin indicated by the arrw n the bdy t ensure the maximum efficiency f the filtering actin. The jinted part allws installatin n vertical, hrizntal and diagnal piping. DEGREE OF FILTRATION: Mag-Nus2 remves any magnetic and nn-magnetic particles that may cause damages t the system during the first day f peratin. The cntinuus passage f the fluid thrugh the filter during the nrmal peratin f the system n which it is installed, gradually remves any dirt. WARNINGS: This filter cntains pwerful magnet, and strng magnetic fields are present within it. We recmmend the hlders f pacemaker devices t keep at a safe distance during the filter peratin and / r maintenance. Pay attentin t the use f electrnic equipment in the vicinity f the magnets, s as nt t affect their peratin.

4 By ging thrugh a set curse, the fluid is frced t crss the mesh f the cartridge and enter the filtratin chamber. In the filtratin chamber, thanks t the simultaneus actin f: - filtering cartridge - magnet - directin f the fluid given by the specific internal gemetry in the different phases, water is filtered frm ferrus sludge. First f all, the sudden crss-sectin variatin (the filtering chamber has a much greater diameter than the cnduit) slws dwn the fluid mtin and, cnsequently, the entrainment rate f the particles suspended in it. The particles cllide with the mesh f the filter cartridge and then slw dwn. OPERATING PRINCIPLE The heavier particles fall dwnwards due t gravity, which prevails ver the drag frce. The magnet, placed inside a cylinder at the centre f the filtratin chamber, attracts all the impurities having magnetic characteristics. In this way, all magnetic (ferrus residues) and nnmagnetic (algae, sludge, sand...) cntaminants in the system are retained in the filtratin chamber. Due t its special helical shape and t its mesh with a very high filtratin pwer, the stainless steel element des nt ppse any resistance t the passage f fluid (lw lad lss) and favurs a helical mvement which helps bringing impurities t the bttm. Filtering cartridge Filtratin chamber Nedymiun magnet Filtered water Dirty water INSTALLATION GUIDE We advise installing the mud-remving filter n the biler inlet circuit t prtect the biler frm impurities present in the system, especially in the start-up phase. It is imprtant t bserve the directin shwn by the arrw n the bdy t guarantee better filtering perfrmance. Directin arrw G 3/8 cnnectin Mag-Nus2 must be installed with the impurity discharge valve facing dwnwards. OK OK The swiveling part makes installatin pssible n pipes: - Vertical - Hrizntal - Diagnal The seal between the swiveling part and the rest f the bdy is nt influenced by the frce with which the adjustment ring is tightened, because the seal is telescpic and nt a head-type seal. In the upper part f the filter there is a treaded cnnectin G 3/8. This can be used t install f autmatic air venting valve RBM cde This valve is used t cntinuusly eliminate the air which was nt expelled in the filling phase r micr-bubbles which frm while the system is perating nrmally. 5 MAINTENANCE GUIDE BLEED THE FILTER (A) / FILTERING CARTRIDGE CLEANING (B): The chice t build a large chamber fr separating impurities and t use a large-mesh steel filter, avid the clgging f the filter. Hwever, in case f large impurities, it is pssible t perfrm cartridge cleaning peratins by extracting the magnet r, alternatively, by cmpletely unscrewing the filter element supprt bdy. Befre cleaning Mag-Nus2, ensure the wrking envirnment is safe. RBM recmmends that the biler is ff and the system is allwed t cl at a rm temperature befre carrying ut any maintenance interventin, in rder t avid burns. (A) - Intercept the filter t be serviced by clsing the ball valves (accessry valves - nt supplied with the filter). - Unscrew the magnet frm the filter element supprt bdy and pull it ut s as t easily eliminate ferrus particles. - Open the impurity discharge valve: water will gradually drain, dragging ut ferrus impurities and sediments captured by the filter. Ensure that water is cllected in a cntainer f suitable dimensins. (B) Pssibly, the filter element supprt bdy can be cmpletely remved s as t extract the filtering mesh and allw fr cleaning and replacement peratins (B). Wash with water and thrughly rinse under the tap t cmpletely remve any impurities. Ensure the O-ring seal is nt damaged; if necessary, replace it. Reassemble in reverse rder. Ensure there are n leaks prir t recmmissining. It is imprtant t perfrm the cleaning peratin at least nce a year. In case f first applicatin, perfrm the first cleaning after a mnth.
