3 The Innvatin Cmpany Inductin Units fr Installatin in Access Flrs Type HFB-N, HFB Applicatin The Inductin Units Type HFB are -pipe r 4-pipe units fr ventilating, heating and/r cling ccupied znes (perimeter znes) with varying lads and transient lad changes. The unit is ideal fr installatin in access flrs with a recmmended clearance f 00 t 300 mm. Since all the cmpnents are belw flr level the Inductin Units HFB may als be used with full height facade glazing. Inductin Unit fr installatin in access flrs, Type HFB -D (illustratin unit pen - special versin with sckets) Mde f Operatin The primary air (prcessed fresh air frm the main plant), is led thrugh a detachable nzzle bx with replaceable nzzles (nly in case f plastic nzzles). The primary air jets induce a larger secndary air flw f rm air in which is drawn acrss a flat heat exchanger. After a 90_ deflectin, the mixed air flw is expelled int the rm in a vertical directin clse t the facade via a ventilatin grille n the flr. In summer, this supply air mixes with the heated rm air in frnt f the facade, in winter with the descending cld air clse t the windw (mixed air flw clse t the facade). In the cling mde, the supply air, having passed the mixing air zne, passes thrugh the rm in by displacement. The unit may be used as an underflr cnvectr fr heating the rm whenever the ventilatin r air cnditining plant is islated. Versins The LTG inductin unit fr installatin in access flrs type HFB is available in tw versins: - HFB-Z with tw-rw heat exchanger fr high calric utput with high primary air vlume - HFB-D with three-rw heat exchanger fr high calric utput with lw primary air vlume Bth versins are available in identical lengths and grille widths. Advantages Flexible use - Thanks t the mdular design, the unit may be prgressively cnverted accrding t user requirements frm a pure flr cnvectr fr heating t mechanical ventilatin t a 4-pipe inductin unit including cling. Height-adjustable feet ensure a precise alignment f the unit. Fr air cnnectin use ne f the tw cnnecting sckets n the unit s backside. The cntrl valve cmpartment and the water cnnectin are lcated n the unit s left side. Bushings fr water cnnectin hses are prvided n the unit s rear panel, n the left hand side. The ventilatin grille is designed t be flush-munted t the flr. It is ft traffic resistant withut the need fr any additinal crss members. Inductin Unit Type HFB - with ventilatin grille Installatin Sequence - Set the unit with insulating strips directly n the facade. - Height adjustment and exact psitining f the unit thrugh adjustable feet. - If required, use e.g. a PU adhesive t fix the unit feet in rder t avid accidental mvement. - Adjustment via damper blade and pressure measurement. - Set the feet fr flr panels and install the flr panels s that a direct cntact with the unit is ensured. - Cmplete electrical and water cnnectins. Water cnnectins must be flexible and strainless. Special Versins / Accessries - Cntrl valves ptinally with cntinuus, thermal r 3-psitin actuatr. - Insulated flexible hses with safe quick-release cnnectrs n the heat exchanger and integrated air-relief valves. - Slid, ft traffic resistant ventilatin grille nt requiring any additinal crss members, with blades parallel t the facade. Aluminum r stainless steel, inserted int the flr pan frm abve. The use f grilles f ther manufacturers requires LTG permissin in rder t ensure a prper functinf the entire system. - Primary air flw damper fr air flw balancing t btain a rati f up t abut :.5. Cntrl Water-side cntrl thrugh cntrl valves. Maintenance All cmpnents are lcated within a sheet steel pan and are easily accessible frm abve fr maintenance, inspectin and cleaning.
