Plese red complete instlltion instructions efore fitting for Enclosure nd Try (if fitting).. We recommend the use of Sfety glsses nd Non slip gloves when hndling the glss pnels. 3. Ensure tht the product cn e fixed to solid msonry wll or suitle timer stud work grde C6/C4 in the re ehind the Wll frmes. 4. Shower trys or tiled floors must e solutely level where enclosures re fitted 5. If fitting try we recommend dringe test is crried out efore the try is tiled in position. 6. The ssemly should e instlled onto wterproof wll covering nd instlled fter the Try nd wll coverings re in plce. Where Tiling lips re provided Trys should e let into the Wll with the Tiling lip flush with the wll to llow the Tiling to overlp the Tiling lip. 7. Sel etween try nd tiles. Remove ny excess selnt from the re/joint etween the try nd the tiles where the Wll Mount is to e fitted. This will ensure the Wll mount fits correctly to the wll nd try/or tiled floor. CAUTION: TEMPERED GLASS CANNOT BE CUT, POLISHED METAL AND CHROME CAN BE SCRATCHED. CAREFULLY REMOVE ASSEMBLY FROM CARTON, DO NOT PLACE GLASS ON HARD FLOOR OR EXPOSE EDGES TO IMPACT. 3 STAGE x 3 x 3 TOP TOP VIEW FIXED PANEL WALL MOUNT THRESHOLD SEE DIMENSIONS x 3 WALL MOUNT.5mm x 3 THRESHOLD ADJUSTER THRESHOLD x 3 Ø6 PIVOT POINT (IMAGE SHOWS A LH PIVOTING DOOR. ROTATE THRESHOLD BY 80 FOR RH PIVOTING DOOR) This stge is descriing the fitting of the Fixed pnel wll mounts Before fitting the enclosure plese check tht your product will fit the finished perture size.(see dimensions). Remove nd set side the threshold cover from the horizontl threshold. Plce the horizontl threshold into position on try. (If fitting close to the front edge of the try tke into ccount tht the front fce of the fixed pnel wll mount sits.5mm in front of the threshold). The Pivot point in the threshold determines the hnding of the door, for door pivoting from the LH side, pivot point should e on the LH side, nd right for RH pivoting. Position the closure fixed pnel wll mount on to the wll over threshold (wll mount hs top nd ottom, Wll mount cut-out with socket set screw is the top of the wll mount). Ensure the threshold djuster fits up into the ck of the wll mount extrusion in the recess s shown. Adjust position of threshold djuster s required, to djust loosen screw full turn, re-tighten fter djustment, do not over tighten. Plum the wll mount for upright nd mrk the fixing holes in the centre of the slots.. Drill 3 x fixing holes in the wll nd insert wll plugs. Clen re nd pply silicon selnt to the re ehind the wll mount etween the try nd tiles nd 00mm up the wll, centrl to the width of the wll mount. Fit the wll mount using the No.8 x 3mm Pn Hed Screws. c. Repet s ove for fixed pnel wll mount on the pivot lock side.

4 STAGE FOR BOTH PANELS x OUTSIDE FACE e c SOAPY WATER SOAPY WATER WALL MOUNT GLASS GUARD This stge is descriing the fitting of oth fixed pnels. Before fitting the fixed glss pnels djust the threshold extrusion so tht it is eqully positioned etween the two wll mounts. Loosen the threshold djusters t ech end nd lightly tighten in position s required.. Apply ed of silicon long the outer inside edge of the threshold extrusion in the recess provided up to the cut-out where oth fixed pnels will e fitted.. Remove nd set side the pnel stop fixing screws from the threshold extrusion. c. Mke sure the wll mount glss gurd is pushed up fully to llow the glss to esily slot into the wll mount. d. Lightly wet the edge of the fixed pnel with sopy wter nd gently lower the pnel down into the threshold extrusion first then long into the wll mount. e. As guide the end of the edge of the fixed pnel glss nd extrusion should e positioned inline with the strt of the cut out in the threshold trck (d) further slight djustments my e required during the fitting of the door. Fix into position using the previously removed screw. f. Repet s ove (c-d) for the opposite pnel.

5 STAGE 3 IMPORTANT x x 3mm c x THIS IMAGE SHOWS THE ASSEMBLY OF THE HEADRAIL FOR A LH DOOR. ROTATE HEADRAIL 80 FOR RH DOOR. d This stge is descriing the fitting of the Top Trck.. Loosen the fixings in the hedril djusters to llow the djusters to move freely in nd out. Lower the top trck into position, ensuring the tongues on the hedril djusters fit down into the ck of the wll mounts. Using long spirit level lign the upper nd lower pivot points y djusting the hedril left or right. Re-tighten the fixings in the hedril djusters to fix in position.. Importnt - tighten the top trck locking screws underneth the top trck on oth wll mounts to fix the top trck to the wll mounts. c. Fit oth the wll mount top cps (supplied in the kit of prts) to the top of the wll mounts. d. Tighten the inline pnel clmp to the hedril.

6 STAGE 4 c 3mm d HANDLE GROOVES ON UNDERSIDE This stge is descriing the fitting of the Door.. Lift the door nd crefully guide the lower pivot lock pin into the pivot lock fitted to the threshold trck.. From ehind guide the upper pivot lock pin fixed to the hedril into the cup in the pivot lock fitted to the top of the door. c. Rotte the pivot lock disc with the socket csk screw 80 so tht it secures the door in position. Tighten the socket csk screw. d. Disssemle the hndle y unscrewing the x M5 x Csk socket screws. Plce the glss wshers either side of the holes in the door glss. Re-ssemle the hndle to the glss nd tighten into position with the grooved surfces on the hndle on the underside.

7 STAGE 5 IN/OUTWARD OPENING DOOR SEAL (DOOR SHOWN IN OUTWARD OPEN POSITION) c DOOR ADJUST BACK OF DOOR UNLOCK IMPORTANT LOCK FIXED PANEL CLOSURE PANEL mm d FIXED PANEL This stge is descriing the Door djustment.. Fit the door closure sel to the ck of the door. The door closure sel cn e djusted wy from the edge of the door to improve seling with the fixed pnel or the fixed pnel cn e djusted t the top to the sel. Importnt. The inwrd/outwrd sel requires sufficient compression to the fixed pnel glss. When initilly opening the door oth inwrds nd outwrds the sel my deform unevenly nd cn ctch the fixed pnel. Allow the sel to tke set in the closed position for -4 hrs. Open the door inwrds nd outwrds djust s required ensuring the sels works effectively for oth directions of movement.. Fit the mgnetic closure pnel sel to the edge of the closure pnel. Check the polrity of the mgnet is correct with the mgnet on the edge of the door. This sel cn e djusted wy from the edge of the fixed pnel to meet the door mgnetic sel or the fixed pnel cn e djusted t the top to the door. Check there re no gps etween the door nd mgnetic closure pnel sel. c. To djust the door left to right t the upper pivot point, loosen the socket cp screw in the top of the hedril y one turn only nd djust the door s required. d. To djust the door up nd down t the lower pivot point, firstly loosen the locking screw in the lower pivot lock. Then using the spnner (supplied in the kit of prts) wind the nut t the se of the pivot lock nti-clockwise to rise the door upwrds. Importnt - Re-tighten locking screw

8 STAGE 6 d f c SLOPE INWARDS x FIXED PANEL SLOPE INWARDS e INSIDE CAP This stge is descriing the fitting of the covers nd cps.. Apply continuous ed of silicon ll round the inside of the troughs in the threshold trck etween the edge of the fixed pnel nd the lower pivot lock nd etween the other side of the lower pivot lock nd edge of the closure fixed pnel, s shown ove.. Fit the two covers either side of the lower pivot lock into the threshold trck, so tht the fce of the covers is firmly pressed ginst the fce of the lower pivot lock nd ensure the slope on the cover is fcing inwrd. c. Apply ed of silicon ll round the inside of the recess in the threshold trck where the threshold cover cps re to e fitted, from the edge of the threshold cover ll the wy round to the edge of the fixed glss pnel. Fit the threshold cover cps (supplied in the kit of prts), with the slope fcing inwrds. d. Fit the upper pivot lock covers with colour detil disks over oth sides of the upper pivot lock nd inline pnel clmp. The inline pnel clmp covers re fctory fitted on the pnel for silver, lck nd white units. Remove nd refit with the colour disks. The Inline clmp covers re not fitted on ronze products or with optionl copper nd rss hndle vrints. These re included in the prts kit. f. Fit the hndle cover cps, press firmly into the ends of the hndle.

9 STAGE 7 FLUSH c DOOR TOP VIEW DOOR (OPEN) DOOR (OPEN) MAGNETIC SEAL (FACTORY FITTED) e INSIDE VIEW d d 00mm 00mm This stge is descriing the finl fitting of the Sels nd Silicon. Fit the door horizontl sels to the ottom of the door, ensuring tht the ends of the sel re firmly pressed up ginst the side of the lower pivot lock on oth sides. The horizontl sel deflector fces inwrds. Adjust the Horizontl door sels down s required to meet the threshold. Pull off the verticl sel t the ottom on the pivot side nd pply ed of silicon selnt t the end of the horizontl sel, refit the verticl sel. Apply smll ed of silicon to the joints where the horizontl sels meet the inside pivot lock cp.. The end of the horizontl sel must e flush with the edge of the door. Apply ed of silicon selnt etween the ottom of the door nd the horizontl sel, clen the silicon flush with the door edge. c. Pull off the closure pnel verticl mgnetic sel t the ottom. Apply ed of silicon long the top of the threshold cover cp nd verticl edge of the glss pnel nd refit the mgnetic sel to the edge of the glss. d. Apply thin ed of silicon long the ottom edge of oth the wll mounts nd ll the wy up the outside of oth the wll mounts nd the tiles. Apply thin ed ll the wy long the threshold etween the extrusion nd finished floor surfce/try. Continue round the joint where the threshold joins the wll mounts nd lso 00mm up on the outside where the wll mount nd glss meet. e. Apply ed of silicon on the outside round the joints etween the threshold cover cps nd threshold extrusion. Msking tpe cn e used to chieve tidy edge to the selnt. Remove the msking tpe immeditely nd llow the silicon to cure for 4 hours efore using the shower.

12 MAINTENANCE Mtki Glss Gurd Esy Clen Surfce Protection (optionl) nd Generl Clening Guide Clening Instructions Mtki Glss Gurd llows wter to form minute eds which esily trickle off the surfce of the glss. This mkes the glss esier to clen - the glss does not need to e clened s frequently, ut it does require occsionl mintennce. As less clening is required the use of detergents cn e minimised thus helping to protect the environment. The lifespn of the Mtki Glss Gurd is dependnt on the frequency of use of the shower nd the degree of wter hrdness. The comintion of lkline mterils nd humidity ffects glss in n extremely ggressive wy. Do not use lech, lkline, cid-sed or ggressive nd rsive glss cleners, detergents or household clening products on the glss or frmes. We recommend tht glss is wshed down with clen wter nd soft clen cloth or sponge nd dried off with microfire cloth. The specil coting is only present on the inside of the glss. Mtki Glss Gurd is gurnteed for yers provided tht the guidelines nd clening instructions re followed. Aluminium nd Chrome prts should e clened with mild non scrtch household clener nd soft cloth or sponge. Do not use cidic-sed descler products or products which re unsuitle for clening enmelled surfces, including rsive cleners or cleners contining lech or solvents, s the products will effect the nodised frmework. Under no circumstnces use cleners with ph level exceeding 8. Mtki does not recommend the use of 'Leve-on' shower cleners on Mtki Glss Gurd Products. Wter Softeners nd Glss Gurd - Certin types of wter softeners increse the lklinity of the wter due to crry-over of Chloride during re-genertion which cn cuse ggressive wter spots on oth untreted nd Glss Gurded glss. If using wter softener we recommend two-cylinder mchine with utomtic re-genertion insted of timer. If single-cylinder wter softener with timer is lredy instlled it is recommended tht fter ech shower excess wter is removed from the glss with squeegee or with micro-fire cloth. Annul recommended mintennce - Mtki recommend nnully luricting the rrel of the hinge with luricting spry such s WD-40 to remove dust uild-up nd to id the movement of the hinge. WHITE SPIRIT BLEACH Wsh down with clen wrm wter nd soft clen cloth or sponge. Do not use lech, lkline or cid-sed, ggressive or rsive clening products. Flsh Bthroom Spry or Cif Bthroom Spry cn e used on Mtki Products. Red mnufcturers lel efore using ny clening mterils. IMPORTANT Mtki Glss Gurd is gurnteed for yers. It is essentil tht the clening instructions re followed in order to mintin the hydrophoic properties of the glss coting. In the event of the filure to comply in ny wy with these instructions, ny wrrnty or gurntee will e null nd void.
