2 WARNINGS / LIMITATIONS Fits 0-9" wheels up to 3" wide Bike mximum crrying cpcity = 70ls. Crries ikes with wheel ses up to 6.5" The 990XT Douletrck cn work with ikes with tire fenders. FOR /" INSTALLATION Slide hitch into triler hitch receiver until hole in horizontl tue ligns with receiver hole. Secure in position with STL receiver olt (D), lock wsher mm (J), nd wsher mm x mm (E) s illustrted. Tighten firmly with Thule hitch tool (L). Remove dpter sleeve, short (M) using hex key 5mm (K) provided, s illustrted. SECURE UPRIGHT ASSEMBLY Align upright tue & hook ssemly (C) mounting holes with holes on the sides of the stinger & ckone ssemly (A). Secure with M8 x 70mm crrige olts (H), wsher 8mm x 6mm (F), nd locknut M8 (I) s illustrted. Tighten firmly with Thule hitch tool (L).

3 3 SECURE BIKE CARRIER TUBES Plce ike tue & wheel holder ssemlies (B) centered on try of stinger & ckone ssemly (A). Align ike tue holes with holes on se unit nd secure with M8 x 5mm crrige olts (G), wsher 8mm x 6mm (F), lock wsher M8 (Z) nd hex nut M8 (Y) s illustrted. Tighten firmly with Thule hitch tool (L). LOADING BICYCLE Press relese-utton on upright tue & hook ssemly (C) nd rise up the hooks s fr s possile. Lift upright relese lever nd rotte upright to down position. 5 LOADING BICYCLE Plce smller ike on inner crrier with wheels in wheel holders nd hndlers to left side of vehicle.

4 6 LOADING BICYCLE CONTINUED With cm lever in open position, position wheel trys on tue. Move cm lever to closed position to tighten wheel try in position. Rod ike only Mountin ike only Slide on dpter onto strp. Invert or remove for mountin ikes. NOTE: Thred wheel strp through uckle. Then push down to close uckle. You my hve to open uckle nd djust strp length for tight closure. 7 LOADING BICYCLE CONTINUED Lift upright tue relese ltch nd rise upright tue nd hook ssemly until it clicks into position. NOTE: You my need to tilt ike towrds vehicle for clernce. Push ike hook down with firm pressure until it is secure on the ike s top tue.

5 8 LOADING BICYCLE CONTINUED Lod second ike with hndle rs to the right side of vehicle. Secure ike with ike hook nd wheel strps. 9 FOLDING UP THE RACK ON VEHICLE With ikes unloded, rotte upright tue & hook ssemly (C) into down position. Lift lever on Hitch Switch s illustrted. c c With other hnd, lift ike crrier ssemly upwrd until the Hitch Switch lever clicks into locked position.

6 0 LOCK CYLINDER INSTALLATION FOR DOUBLETRACK UPRIGHT TUBE & HOOK ASSEMBLY Thule strongly recommends the use of locks to deter theft. As shown, follow these esy steps for instlling the lock cylinders. Using flt hed screw driver, first remove the lck plug cps from the rtcheting hook ses. Then insert the chnge key into the lock cylinder nd slide the lock cylinder into the round slot s shown. Remove chnge key. To lock, insert lcoking key nd turn clockwise.

7 LOCK CYLINDER INSTALLATION FOR STL. Remove nd discrd plug.. Open cover. c. Insert chnge key into lock cylinder d. Insert cylinder into STL lock housing. e. Remove chnge key. Insert locking key. INSTALLATION OF STL Slide STL onto hitch pin, keeping key verticl. Turn key clockwise to lock, remove key. Close cover.
