2 DEALER RESPONSIBILITY The dealer shall identify all outstanding vehiles using the enews ampaign enquiry funtion and perform the repair aording to the proedure provided within this bulletin. Mandatory Requirements Confirm all outstanding ampaigns on the affeted vehiles irrespetive of the reason the vehile has entered the dealership using the enews ampaign VIN enquiry funtion. Ensure all outstanding reall and servie ampaigns (exluding warranty extensions) are ompleted on a vehile s first visit to the dealer. Retify any vehiles identified as outstanding that are in inventory stok. This ampaign inludes vehiles purhased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Ensure that adequate personal protetion is used during the repair ativities. No speial tooling is required for this repair operation This proedure is relevant to left hand drive and right hand drive vehiles. 3 Preautions <Condition of the vehile> Erase all reorded DTC in the vehile before reprogramming. Turn off all the eletri loads. Do NOT use mobile phone or devies that emit eletromagneti waves, suh as radio transeivers et., near the vehile. Connet battery harger/stabilizer to the 12V battery and ontrol the output to maintain the voltage always within 12V to 13.5V. Ensure all doors are losed and the driver's window is in the fully down position. During the reprogramming do not swith OFF the ignition. If the engine has been running, ensure the ignition is OFF for at least 30 seonds to allow time for the ECM to reset before onduting the rework. <Condition of Consult IIIplus> Be sure to have the AC Adapter to your Consult IIIplus onneted, during the reprogramming. Swith off sreen saver of your Consult IIIplus Connet VI with USB able, and do not disonnet during the reprogramming. If further reprogram is to be onduted for another vehile after ompletion of the reprogram, turn off Consult IIIplus ompletely before ontinuing. Make sure to use Ver.64.1 or later version of Consult IIIplus software. Make sure the relevant Consult IIIplus path for this ativity is installed.

4 REPAIR PROCEDURE 1 Connet 12V battery harger/stabilizer to the vehile battery. NOTE: Make sure all the key points in the preautions setion are followed. 2 Connet the VI Unit to the vehile OBD port and to Consult IIIplus using USB onnetion. 3 Change the vehile ondition to "ON", by operating the ignition swith or using the key. 4 Start up Consult IIIplus and onfirm that the VI is onneted to the vehile and to Consult IIIplus by USB onnetion.

5 5 Clik on "Diagnosis (All Systems)" and selet the appropriate vehile to be reprogrammed. 6 Chek that there are no DTCs reorded or solve/erase all reorded DTCs before ontinuing. 7 Clik on "Home" button and then "Diagnosis (One System)" 8 Clik on "Engine" button and hek there are no DTCs reorded.

6 9 Selet "ECU Identifiation" tab. NOTE: find below table with affeted ECU IDs, if the vehile is within the affeted VIN list but the ECU Identifiation is not inluded in this table, ontat Tehnial Support Department. NOTE: Any preautions added in Consult IIIplus after the release of this bulletin must also be followed.

7 12 Selet the appropriate vehile to be reprogrammed, lik on "Selet" and then lik "Confirm". 13 Enter the VIN number and lik on "Confirm". NOTE: VIN should be automatially identified, insert it manually otherwise. 14 Clik on "Engine" button. Then lik on the "Reprogramming" button. 15 Chek that the part number shown is inluded in the table in step 9 and touh the Save button. Then lik on "Next" button.

8 16 Read both preaution pages, tik the onfirmation hek box and lik on "Next". NOTE: Any preautions added in Consult IIIplus after the release of this bulletin must also be followed. 17 Confirm that the Part number after reprogramming is aording to the table below and lik "Next". NOTE: table below shows ompatibility at the release of the ampaign, any later ECM Part Number update (unrelated to the ampaign) will not be inluded in this table. 9 18 Confirm output of the harger/stabilizer result is OK and lik on "Next". 19 Confirm voltage of the 12V battery is OK, the reprogramming onditions are met and lik on "Start". 20 Wait until "Transfer VI to ECU" is 100% and then lik "Next". NOTE: follow all the indiations in the preautions setions, failing to do so may result in damage to the vehile. Refer to the "Troubleshooting" setion at the end of this doument. 21 Operate the ignition swith to OFF status and wait for the system to update the status to OFF. Then operate the ignition swith to ON.

10 22 Confirm the performed reprogramming. 23 Erase all DTCs and hek that no DTC are present. Quit Consult IIIplus and disonnet VI. Then disonnet the 12V battery harger/stabilizer. Chek that the keys work orretly, start the engine and that there is no warning light. NOTE: It may be neessary to start the engine to erase some of the DTCs. END OF REPAIR PROCEDURE

11 TROUBLESHOOTING More than one Part Number option is shown for reprogramming Use Part Number after reprogramming and Other information to selet the orret option for the affeted vehile. Tables are given within the repair proedure to ensure PN information is available. No option is shown for reprogramming or the reprogramming button is not ative Make sure the reprogramming path has been orretly installed following the instrutions at the end of the proedure. Make sure the Part Number of the unit is affeted by the ativity. An error message is shown when transfering data to the ontrol unit Make sure all items in the preaution setion are followed. Failing to do so may result in permanent damage to the ontrol unit. Contat your NSC Tehnial Assistane Department. NOTE: if the ontrol unit is no longer deteted by Consult IIIplus permanent damage may have been aused to the ontrol unit and replaement may be neessary.

12 HOW TO CHECK Consult IIIplus VERSION The software version an be heked on the top left orner of the sreen of Consult IIIplus. HOW TO DOWNLOAD & INSTALL THE REPROGRAMMING PATCH 1 Log into N-FIT on the B2B portal, then selet the Programming data searh option in the left window pane. 2 Selet vehile as appropriate and lik on "Searh" 3 Selet PG6BP_PR6B6_PS6B8_ECM_J11_F15_C13_HRA2DDT and download the files within titled 'Reprogramming_J11_C13_F15_ECM_HRA2DDT', or navigate to Global Reprogramming path version 12 or later.

13 4 Save and exeute the files with Consult IIIplus losed. 5 Selet the preferred language then lik OK, Next and Install. 6 Clik on finish when installed.
