Dealers, if installing this windsreen for a ustomer, please give them this manual. It ontains information needed to properly maintain and use this produt. 2 PREPARATION 1. Plae motoryle seurely on its enterstand. 2. Remove the stok windsreen. Figure 2 A. Remove the 3 stok M6 x 30mm Fillister Head Srews from the front of sreen. These parts will not e re-ued (T25 Torx) Figure 2 and Diagram a Stok Parts NOT Re-used Diagram a Internal Cover B. Remove the stok Srew () and the stok Srews and Washers () holding Internal Cover. Remove Stok Shield Retain Stok Grommets. Parts will e Re-used F. Remove stok Windsreen. G. Remove stok Grommets from Windsreen. Grommets will e re-used. INSTALLATION 5 Install VStream Windsreen Figure 6 1. Install the Grommets (5) into the front of the VStream Windsreen. Figure 6 Inside of Windsreen 2. Plae one Bushing () into eah front hole on the inside of windsreen. Figure Figure Plae VStream Windsreen on motoryle. Install Windsreen at the front three holes using Srews (3) and Caps (6) (4mm Hex Wrenh) Figure 8 4. Tighten Srews (3) firmly. 4 INSTALLATION ontinued Grommet Install VStream Windsreen 5. Insert Stok Grommet into Windsreen. 6. Install Windsreen at the side using a Srew (2) and Spaer (4). (3mm Hex Wrenh). Repeat proedure on right side of motoryle. 8. Tighten Srews (2) firmly. 2 4 Internal Cover 9. Re-install Internal Cover using stok hardware. (T25 Torx) Figure 10 and Tighten Stok Srews firmly. 5 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE To lean the sreen, wash with a lean soft loth, plenty of warm water and if neessary, a non-arasive soap suh as dishwashing liquid. Flannel or soft hamois make good leaning loths. Paint, glue residue or grease removal: Moisten otton with naphtha or turpentine followed y a wash as aove. National Cyle Shield Wash (N1401) makes a good daily leaner and omes with a handy travel size ottle. Shield Wash is safe for all windshields and helmet visors. Do not lean polyaronate in hot sun or high temperatures. Do not lean the sreen with glass leaners. Ask for Shield Wash and RainZip at your loal dealer or visit Do not allow rake fluid, alohol, or strong solvents to ontat the sreen. RAIN REPELLENT Do not use rain protetive produts made for automotive glass. We reommend National Cyle s RainZip (N1410) to keep your windsreen lear in rainy weather. Register your windshield online at ZTehnik 3-Year Limited Warranty ZTehnik herey warrants to the original registered owner of a ZTehnik polyaronate windshield for a period of three years from the date of purhase against reakage. This limited warranty is expressly limited to the replaement of the polyaronate windsreen. This limited warranty does not inlude srathes, oating failure, osmeti wear and tear, replaement of hardware, or any onsequential damages or expenses inluding laor ost of installation, removal and/or replaement, inonveniene, inound freight expenses or damage to any other omponent of the motoryle or any other aessories. Certain hemials, generally known as aidi hydroarons, are known to ause polyaronate damage and will not e overed under this limited warranty. Please refer to the leaning instrutions supplied with all ZTehnik windshields. Today's motoryles are uilt with enough frame rigidity to withstand the moderate loads imposed on them y the foreseeale addition of an aessory(ies). If an aessory(ies) adversely affets your motoryle's staility, immediately remove the aessory(ies). Do not ride a motoryle that exhiits unsafe handling traits. Have experiened servie personnel orret any prolem efore riding with the aessory(ies) installed. For further questions onerning handling prolems assoiated with an aessory(ies), ontat your dealer, motoryle manufaturer, or aessory manufaturer. Sunlight refleted off the inside urvature of the windsreen an, at ertain times of day, ause extreme heat uildup on the motoryle s instruments and possily even melt them.
