6 An allrounder that is perfectly designed! The classic aong our centre ast ubrellas guarantees professional shading for any requireent. Our Classic Type T ubrellas cover fro 4 to 7. The tried and tested telescopic syste and state of the art gearbox situated within the ast, provides axiu stability, functionality and durability. It is operated by crank handle or pin, whereby the frae is raised when closing, so that, with few exceptions, Type T ubrellas can be above table height. Depending on your individual requireents, Type T ubrellas can be installed using concrete foundations with in-ground sleeves, base plates or portable bases. 10 The Giant The ubrella to cover anywhere! The Uhlann Giant has a unique design concept of its own. Manufactured using either 10 or 1-ar geoetry and equipped with a telescope and sliding echanis, the Giant offers excellent table clearances throughout the whole range. The external sliding echanis is connected with the telescope by eans of two stainless steel cables. Both telescope and sliding echanis are held in place by synthetic slide bearings to give stability and to avoid twisting. The state of the art gearbox ensures that even the largest ubrellas are very easy to and close. With an integrated self-locking echanis, our ubrellas reain securely in all positions. Depending on your individual requireents, Type TL and TLX ubrellas can be installed using concrete foundations with in-ground sleeves, base plates or portable stands. 14 Available as: Our Strong Wind ubrella is ade to withstand the eleents in exposed locations such as costal areas, on roof terraces and in high altitude regions etc. This ubrella was especially developed for extreely windy locations and tested in the wind tunnel. Reinforced ars, exceptionally stable hinge points and an extreely strong ast, enable the Titan to defy wind speeds of up to 10 k/h. The gearbox and spindle echanis located inside the ast can be operated via crank handle or pin, and as with all of our ranges, the entire frae is raised as the ubrella is. Depending on your individual requireents, Type TL and TLX ubrellas can be installed using concrete foundations with in-ground sleeves or base plates. Only high-quality fabrics such as Sunacryl (acrylic) and Airtex (polyester) are used. For hes and seas on both fabrics, Airtex tri is used throughout. By cobining the colours of tri and ebranes, using related, contrasting or copleentary colours, interesting colour schees can be achieved. Alternatively, ubrellas can be designed to either blend into their surroundings or to a specific corporate colour schee. 16

19 Frae Frae Coating Our robust fraes are renowned in the industry for their strength and durability. Depending on the size and type of ubrella, the extruded aluiniu profiles are internally reinforced. All connecting coponents are anufactured fro high quality stainless or galvanised steel. Each of the ars can be individually replaced. Springloaded end pieces in the ends of the ars ensure autoatic tightening of the ebrane and facilitate ebrane replaceent. The telescope is held securely by synthetic bearings to give stability. When closing the u - brella, the frae is raised, guaranteeing aple table clearance for ost of our ubrellas. All aluiniu profiles are finished with a high quality powder coating. This guarantees high scratch and ipact resistance as well as protection against cliatic and environental influences. Besides our white standard coating, you can choose fro any of the RAL colour selection or a pattern fro our exclusive DECORAL range, e.g. pine, walnut, oak, arble, granite, etc. Please do not hesitate to ask for details. 20 Rain Gutters An Uhlann ubrella will not leave you out in the rain. Adjacent ubrellas, as well as ubrellas situated in close proxiity to buildings, can be easily connected by eans of rain gutters. Even detached ubrellas can be equipped with selfsupporting gutters to allow rain water to drain off in desired directions. To ensure optiu drainage, we recoend ebranes with valances. The rain gutters are fastened to the end sections of the ars, using carabiners or special gutter adapters. Airtex is used as the standard aterial for our rain gutters. Their slightly conical shape provides the slope required to allow water to drain off efficiently. For the necessary stability, Uhlann rain gutters have integrated aluiniu profiles with threaded inserts. 0

Whether you are using an individual ubrella or a group of ubrellas connected together, your guests will appreciate both the sheltered atosphere and the cosy abience. Our side sheets are available with and without transparent clear vision inserts. The fastening syste is identical to that of the rain gutters. Side sheets can be connected to one another by eans of heavy duty velcro strips. Additional roll-up doors can also be installed. 1

22 Perfect hospitality in every detail As host or event anager, you are always keen to provide your guests with a war and welcoing atosphere. With our heating and lighting solutions, you can turn your outdoor area into an ipressive and pleasant location, for your guests to relax and feel at ease. Attaching energy saving light units and highly efficient infrared heaters to your ubrella is not only friendly to the environent (copared to the use of conventional light bulbs and outdoor heaters), it will also save you oney. LED's can be ipleented efficiently in a huge variety of applications such as road lighting, advertising, doestic lighting, and autoobile lighting. They bear significant advantages over conventional lighting technologies and have becoe a part of everyday life. Attractive design and low energy consuption are key features of the LED technology. For this reason, we at Uhlann have decided to use the latest generation OSRAM POWERBRIK LED as the standard lighting solution for our giant ubrellas. Our heaters are attached using special brackets. These can be conveniently collapsed before closing the ubrella. Tie-consuing reoval of the heaters is not necessary. Heating and Lighting

23 Ground Sleeve For peranent installation, we recoend our -part fully galvanised ground sleeve syste. The ubrella is firly claped and secured with an additional lock screw. The ground sleeve is set vertically and on ground level into a concrete foundation to ensure a secure standing position. In ubrellas with electrics, all cables are hidden fro view inside the ast and the ground sleeve. This syste ensures copliance with even the ost rigorous Health & Safety regulations. Base Plate The base plate is used in cases where a concrete foundation is not possible due to existing structural liitations. Prie exaples are roof terraces, balconies, and locations with underlying baseents, cellars or car parks. Ground Sleeve Safe and secure installation using a base plate is achieved by eans of 8 anchor screws and heavy duty dowels. Base Plate Portable Bases For obile installations, we recoend our fully galvanised and powder-coated portable bases for use with standard concrete paving slabs. The four corner supports can be individually adjusted to csate any unevenness in the underlying ground.
