Pilot X fro Bosch: The ost copact Xenon floodlap in its class At Bosch, we are continuously working on innovative solutions so that we can offer you an optiu product range for your different requireents. A good exaple of this is the new Pilot X floodlap, which we have developed for tough professional applications. At Bosch, we place great ephasis on high-quality aterials and workanship. The IP degree of protection*) is an iportant indicator of the loads that a lighting unit can withstand. The IP degrees of protection specify the level of protection that a housing provides for electrical equipent on otor vehicles. We carry out various tests to deterine the exact degree of protection. In particular, we test the degree of protection against entry of solid foreign bodies (including dust) and the degree of protection against entry of water. Copact construction. Thanks to its copact construction with integrated control unit and its sophisticated ounting options, the Pilot X is flexible when it coes to attaching it to a vehicle. Optiu illuination. The Xenon light on the Pilot X provides wide and unifor light distribution and has an ipressively long service life. Ready to use iediately. 29 Additional headlaps Fog laps A27 Inforation A total of two additional front fog laps are perissible on each vehicle. These ust be capable of being switched on and off separately fro the upper and lower-bea headlaps. They ay only be switched on together with the lower-bea headlaps. Adjustent is as for the ain headlaps. Adjustent diensions and statutory regulations ust always be adhered to. There are three different optical principles for additional fog laps: Paraboloid A parabolic reflector reflects paraxial light (such as upper bea), which is drawn out into a horizontal band by the lens. A screen restricts the upward radiation of light.
