The linear bar spacing (Bar ich) a a disance of 6 mm and 12.5 mm are available. (For - 2 way, Bar ich 6 mm is no available.) The supporing bars are placed a a disance of mm (maximum) from each oher. Noes on Selecion: The hrow is normally seleced up o 3/4 of he room widh. For a large air volume where he hrow is more han 3/4 of he room widh disribuing he air sream over several oules will reduce he hrow. The drop of he seleced oule plus 1.8 me. is he minimum grille or regiser heigh from he floor as shown in he figs. 5 Engineering and erformance Daa Noes on Selecion When volume conrol damper is parially closed for balancing purpose or for final air flow conrol, in addiion o pressure drop and sound correcions, he hrow paern will be reduced beween 10 and 18% depending on he amoun of hroling. ressure drop will increase accordingly. The sound level of a supply grille is in direc raio o he velociy of he air pressure hrough i. ir passing hrough a properly seleced oule grille will no add any appreciable noise o he sound level of he exising sysem. In order for a new air condiioning sysem o perform o he designers plans and specificaions, i mus be properly balanced o deliver he required amoun of air hrough each diffuser. Correc ceiling heighs mus be observed in order o preven air sream o drop ino he occupied zone which is generally abou 1.8 m. above floor level.
