UlraMOV varisors are primarily inended for use in AC Line Volage applicaions such as Transien Volage Surge Suppressors (TVSS), Uninerrupable ower Supplies (US), AC ower Taps, AC ower Meers, or oher producs ha require volage clamping of high ransien surge currens from sources such as lighning, inducive load swiching, or capacior bank swiching.
