Creepage disances.. The required values of creepage disance are dependen on he working volage, he resisance o racking of he elecrical insulaing maerial and is surface profile. Table gives he grouping of elecrical insulaing maerials according o he compariive racking index (CTI) deermined in accordance wih IEC 0. Inorganic insulaing maerials, for example glass and ceramics, do no rack and need no herefore be subjeced o he deerminaion of he CTI. They are convenionally classified in maerial group. The grouping given in able is applied o insulaing pars wihou ribs or grooves.
