Your new Hydraulic Shop Crane is he produc of over 40 years of coninuing research, esing and developmen; i is he mos echnically advanced Hydraulic Shop Crane on he marke oday. The manner in which you care for and mainain your Hydraulic Shop Crane will have a direc effec on is overall performance and longeviy. READ THIS ENTIRE MANUAL BEFORE INSTALLATION & OPERATION BEGINS. PRODUCT WARRANTY Your new RSC-2TF 2-Ton Hydraulic Folding Shop Crane is covered under warrany for one year on equipmen srucure; one year on all operaing componens and ooling/accessories, o he original purchaser, o be free of defecs in maerial and workmanship. The manufacurer shall repair or replace a heir opion for his period hose pars reurned o he facory freigh prepaid which prove upon inspecion o be defecive. However, equipmen does no ake he place of safe operaing pracices. Always wear durable work clohing. Shop aprons or shop coas may also be worn, however loose fiing clohing should be avoided. Tigh fiing leaher gloves are recommended o proec operaors. Surdy leaher work shoes wih seel oes and oil resisan soles should be used by personnel o help preven injury in ypical shop aciviies. Eye proecion is essenial during insallaion and operaion aciviies. Safey glasses wih side shields, goggles, or face shields are accepable. Back bels provide suppor during lifing aciviies and are also helpful in providing operaor proecion. Consideraion should also be given o he use of hearing proecion if aciviy is performed in an enclosed area, or if noise levels are high. OWNER S RESPONSIBILITY To mainain machine and user safey, he responsibiliy of he owner is o read and follow hese insrucions: Follow all insallaion insrucions. Make sure insallaion conforms o all applicable Local, Sae, and Federal Codes, Rules, and Regulaions; such as Sae and Federal OSHA Regulaions and Elecrical Codes. Carefully check he uni for correc iniial funcion. Read and follow he safey insrucions. Keep hem readily available for machine operaors. Make cerain all operaors are properly rained, know how o safely and correcly operae he uni. Allow uni operaion only wih all pars in place and operaing safely. Carefully inspec he uni on a regular basis and perform all mainenance as required. Service and mainain he uni only wih auhorized or approved replacemen pars. Keep all insrucions permanenly wih he uni and all decal s on he uni clean and visible. 4 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read hese safey insrucions enirely. 15. NEVER remove safey-relaed componens or device from he machine. Do no use if safey relaed componens are damaged or missing. 16. Unreadable and missing warning labels mus be replaced immediaely. 1. READ AND UNDERSTAND all safey warning procedures before operaing equipmen. 2. KEEP HANDS AND FEET CLEAR. Remove hands and fee from any moving pars. 3. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluered work areas invie injuries. 4. Consider work area environmen. Do no expose equipmen o rain. DO NOT use in damp or we locaions. Keep area well lighed. 5. ONLY TRAINED OPERATORS should operae his equipmen. All non-rained personnel should be kep away from work area. Never le non-rained personnel come in conac wih, or operae machine. 6. USE MACHINE CORRECTLY. Use machine in he proper manner. 7. DRESS PROPERLY. Non-skid seel-oe foowear is recommended when operaing machine. 8. MAINTAIN WITH CARE. Keep uni clean for beer and safe performance. Follow manual for proper lubricaion and mainenance insrucions. 9. DO NOT LOAD his shop crane beyond i s raed capaciy for each boom posiion. 17. NO MODIFICATIONS should be made o his shop crane. Repairs o his equipmen should be performed by a qualified echnician. 18. DO NOT OPERATE ool if under he influence of alcohol or drugs. 19. STAY ALERT. Do no operae his uni when you are ired. 20. No o be used for aircraf purposes. UN-CRATING / PACKING INSTRUCTIONS Carefully remove he craing and packing maerials and all skid and palle faseners. Be careful when cuing seel banding maerial as iems may become loose and fall causing personal harm or injury. Always wear gloves when un-craing he machine o preven scraches, abrasions, or cus due o he conac wih packing maerials. 10. Before moving he shop crane, lower he load o he lowes posiion possible. 11. DO NOT allow he load o swing violenly or drop suddenly during lowering or moving. 12. This shop crane is designed for use only on hard level surfaces capable of susaining he load. 13. STAY ALERT. Wach wha you are doing. Use common sense. Be aware. 14. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS. Check for condiion of all moving pars, breakage of pars or any condiion ha may affec he machines operaion. Do no use if any componen is broken or damaged. 4

5 TOOLS REQUIRED Adjusable Wrenches or Meric open end / combinaion wrenches. NOTE: I is recommended o use wo persons during he assembly procedure. 4. Secure he Pos o he Base Assembly using he Bols and Nus. (See Fig. 3) Noe: Leave he Bols loose unil sep 5. Fig. 3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Using he Bols and Nus provided, aach wo Large Casers o he Base Assembly and he oher wo Large Casers o he Legs. Then aach he wo Small Casers o he Base Assembly. (See Fig. 1) 2. Using he four Ring Pins, assemble he Legs o he Base Assembly. Fig Assemble he Suppors o he Base Assembly using he wo Bols and Nus for he boom of he Suppors and he Bols and Nus for he op of he suppors. Tighen he Bols lef loose during sep 4 afer he Suppors are in Place. (See Fig. 4) Noe: Lif up on he fron of he Base Assembly unil he holes line up. Fig Afer he Rings Pins are insered, inser one Hairpin hrough he small hole a he end of each Ring Pin unil he Pin snaps in place. Make sure all Ring Pins are secure before proceeding. 5

6 6. Aach Boom o he Pos and secure wih he Bol and Nu. (See Fig. 5) Fig Slide he Boom Exension ino he boom and secure i a he desired load raing using he Bol and Nu. (See Fig. 7) Fig Assemble he lower end of he Jack o he Pos using he Bol and Nu. Secure he Top of he Jack o he Boom using he Bol and Nu. (See Fig. 6) 9. Aach he Hook and Chain o he end of he Boom Exension using Bol and Nu. (See Fig. 8) Fig. 8 Fig. 6 6

7 OPERATION / MAINTENANCE 1. To raise he Boom Exension, close he Release Valve on he Hydraulic Ram. Then, pump he Handle unil he Boom Exension reaches he desired heigh. 2. To exend he lengh of he Boom Exension, remove bol and nu. Pull ou he Boom Exension unil you have reached he desired exension hole. Then, re-inser he bol hrough he holes in he Boom and Boom Exension, and lock he bol in place wih he nu. 3. WARNING! Do no exceed he maximum lifing capaciies of his ool. Exceeding he maximum lifing capaciies could cause personal injury and/or propery damage. The more he Boom Exension is exended he lower he lifing capaciy of he Hydraulic Shop Crane. 7. Once he objec is fully lowered, disconnec he Hook from he objec. 8. Afer you finish, sore he Shop Crane (unfolded or folded) in a clean, dry, safe locaion ou of reach of children and oher unauhorized people. FOLDING THE FRAME 1. Lower Crane all he way. 2. Remove Hairpins from he fron Ring Pins. Remove he fron Ring Pins. Leave rear Ring Pins in. 3. Raise Legs. 4. Inser a fron Ring Pin ino he middle hole of he Base Assembly. Noe: Be cerain ha, when unfolding, boh Ring Pins and Hairpins are placed back in he proper places. See a video of his produc here: MAINTENANCE 4. Posiion he Crane so ha he Hook is direcly above he objec you wish o lif. NEVER GO UNDER AN OBJECT BEING LIFTED BY THE CRANE. IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THE HOOK TO SLIP, CAUSING AN OBJECT TO FALL, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. ALWAYS MONITOR THE OBJECT BEING LIFTED SO IT DOES NOT ROCK BACK AND FORTH. 5. To lower he Crane, SLOWLY urn he jack s release valve counerclockwise (lef). Aach he Hook o he objec you are lifing and make sure he Safey Lach on he Hook is fully closed. 6. Close he Release Valve, and pump he Handle o raise he objec. Carefully move he Shop Crane o he locaion where you wish o lower he objec. Then lower he objec by opening he Release Valve slighly. 1. Check all of he mouning hardware before each use and make sure i is secure before using he Shop Crane. 2. Make sure he Hook & Chain are clean of dir, grease or debris. 3. If he Jack is no performing o saisfacion, here may be air in he hydraulic sysem. To purge he sysem of air, follow hese insrucions: Make sure he Ram is compleely lowered. Remove he Oil Fill Plug and op off wih Hydraulic Fluid. Raise he Ram o maximum heigh. Loosen he Release Valve and push he Ram all he way down. Top off wih Hydraulic Fluid and replace he plug. Repea if necessary. 4. To clean, use a damp cloh and a mild deergen. Do no use solvens or oher flammable agens. 5. If lifing performance of he Shop Crane begins o diminish, check he hydraulic oil level in he Oil Tank. If necessary, op off he Oil Tank wih hydraulic oil. 7
