Whenever a part need t be returned t Haldex a a warranty claim r a part i t be advanced fr repair under the warranty, a file ha t be pened and a claim n ha t be allcated t fllw up the wrk and imprve prceing. The cutmer mut firt cmplete the warranty claim frm (ee appendix B) and ubmit t Haldex, t btain a claim number. Thi i the link between the alleged faulty part and the variu dcument relating t the claim (claim authriatin, delivery nte, invice, etc.). In the event f any cmplaint r further crrepndence, the cutmer mut refer t the claim number in all cmmunicatin. Part advance fr repair All part advance hall reuire written cnfirmatin frm the repairer r manufacturer and hall be charged at the applicable dicunted lit price. The invice hall be made ut: T the repairer when the manufacturer i nt invlved in the matter and the warranty i being prceed by Haldex and it netwrk. T the manufacturer when the repairer i nt a member f the Haldex netwrk, nly at the reuet f the manufacturer. The claim n will be tated n the Haldex delivery nte and invice. Claim authriatin The claim authriatin i a cmmitment frm Haldex tward the repairer regarding the payment f the ct f the repair, fllwing invetigatin and acceptance by Haldex f the validity f the warranty claim Befre preparing the dcument, yur Haldex cntact will make ure that the affected prduct and vehicle are cvered by the warranty. T that end, ubtantiating dcument are t be given t Haldex (vehicle regitratin certificate, date f manufacture f the part etc.). The claim authriatin hall clearly define the term and cnditin f the repair (labur time, hurly rate etc.), a agreed jintly with the repairer. It hall ue the claim n a file reference. All uch part mut be accmpanied by the cmpleted warranty claim frm (ee appendix B) and the claim number. The claim number mut al be clearly marked n the utide f the packaging. All warranty reuet that the warranty department find incrrectly r incmpletely prepared hall be autmatically returned t the ender fr mre infrmatin (all the infrmatin reuired in the frm i indipenable fr managing the file). The warranty department hall nly take the warranty claim int cnideratin after it ha received all the reuired dcument, duly cmpleted. Any return withut an attached warranty claim frm hall be returned autmatically at the ct f the ender. Interventin invice t Haldex Fr an interventin invice t be taken int accunt, it mut necearily be accmpanied by the claim authriatin prepared by yur Haldex cntact and a cpy f the relevant dcumentary evidence relating t the vehicle. Any invice that de nt tate the claim n r i nt accmpanied by it claim authriatin r ha nt been cnented befrehand in writing by Haldex hall be rejected by ur accunting department and returned t the ender. Haldex de nt authrize any party t make repair in it wn name and charge them t Haldex. Part invetigatin All warranty reuet fr part that are incmplete, pened r where the manufacturing plate i miing hall be rejected ytematically withut an examinatin f the prduct by the warranty department. Warranty reuet fr part that are in a pr cnditin that de nt allw a check hall be rejected utright. If it i impible t identify the warranty perid n the bai f dcument (regitratin certificate, invice, delivery lip etc.), the warranty perid applied hall be determined by the prduct manufacturing date (ee appendix A), fllwing the cnditin defined in the ectin warranty perid (page 4). 6 Innvative Vehicle Slutin Editin 2

The part will be kept at the dipal f the reueter fr ne mnth fllwing the date f publicatin f Haldex warranty reprt. After that time, the part will be detryed withut further ntice. Part fully functinal Part where the warranty i rejected becaue they are fully functinal hall remain the prperty f the reueter. They will be returned in a eparate parcel at the ct f the reueter. If any euipment ha been advanced, the invice mut be paid in full by the reueter. Warranty accepted A written repne hall be ent back t the reueter with the wrd «Haldex Deciin : accept», the part number, the cutmer file number (if tated) and the defect fund. Part where the warranty ha been accepted hall becme the prperty f Haldex. Part replacement fllwing warranty acceptance The acceptance f the warranty may nt lead t any claim fr a benefit f any nature; a a reult, the device r part hall be replaced. If any replacement part() ha/have been advanced, a credit nte will be made ut in keeping with the invice.
