Te new system provides a very irm and rigid insert clamping tat eliminates te need or te top clamp, wic intereres wit te cip low. Roug turning is caracterized by ig D.O.C. (4-10 mm) and ig eed rates ( mm/rev). Usually, large single-sided inserts are used on top-clamp toololders to witstand interrupted cut and ig macining load. Te current metod o using single-sided inserts and top-clamp olders as te disadvantages o a low number o cutting edges and an interrupted cip low due to te obstruction o te top clamp. A precision ground seat and top clamp ensure excellent insert-seat contact Standard single-sided insert wit 2 cutting edges
